After years of great partial foils at Gene Juarez, I summoned my courage to seek a new salon, and scored a touchdown with J'Tique Salon in Ballard. While I love Gene Juarez, I should have make the leap sooner. I'm frequently complimented on my hair, so switching salons was a big decision. I couldn't be more happy. My color is fantastic, and holds and my hear looks terrific. My colorist, Lisa Wilbur, has been fantastic; warm, professional and took the time to really listen to my comments--and scored a perfect color combination the first time out of the gate. The salon is immaculate, stylish and tasteful, and they are stringent but comfortable on COVID requirements to genuinely keep everyone safe. The price is excellent and I couldn't be more pleased. The salon is located in Loyal Heights at 24th and 80th, so parking is free and easy. What's not to love?
Kate fit me in same day and did a fabulous job with my hair! I didn't have a clear vision but she suggested a darker shade and bangs, which I loved. Definitely recommend!
Tia is fantastic, highly recommend! She had taken me from brown to blonde previously and I looked to her again today to take me blonde to red as I was ready for a change. The color looks so natural and was exactly what I wanted. She does wonderful cuts and the scalp massage during the shampoo is the best I've ever had!
I've lived in Washington for 2 1/2 years and been searching for a hair stylist. Well, I've finally found one and her name is Tia!!! From the shampoo (head massage was sooo nice) to the cut Tia knows her stuff!!! We talked about the style I was looking for and she went to work. She made me feel at ease with her friendly and fun personality. Tia gave me the best hair cut ever and styled it perfectly too!!! She is AMAZING!!! I was thrilled with it and my husband loved it!!! So if you're looking for a hair stylist that won't disappoint come see Tia!!!
I saw Tia at this salon, which was a first time for me. She was wonderful! Went for a haircut and she cut it exactly as I wanted it. I will be going back soon for some highlights - I'm excited to have found this place. So convenient too, as it's right on my way home from work. My only complaint (and it's a matter of preference), was that she used a little too much Kevin Murphy product for my taste. Had to wash it the next morning as it looked greasy to me. 5 stars from me!
