j-nails in Kenosha, WI

I will not be returning here. i haven't gotten my nails done in over a year. i'm currently looking for a salon to regular at & i decided to give J-nails a chance because i've been there once & the nails were pretty good. but this experience was very upsetting. my nails are very uneven & overall VERY BAD. I'm not typically the type of person to write a review, or a bad one at that. i just want to help out others who may think this is a good place to get acrylics. Another thing i wanted to mention was the lady who had done my nails. throughout the entire process she kept making comments on my natural nails & was overall very aggressive while doing them. when it came time to checkout, she held the receipt & hovered over me while i was putting in the tip. i'm a people pleasure so it made me feel obligated to leave a decent tip for something i wasn't happy with. jus wanted to bring awareness!

lady who did my nails was very nice but she made me bleed multiple times. nails are also different lengths and i spent 2 hours in this salon. i was supposed to get my nails done at 1;45 but i got into the chair at 2:20. my nail tech kept getting up and waxing people and doing other peoples nails and not putting me first. i've gone her many times before with my sister and this same nail tech made her bleed. although there are some very good nail techs i would not recommend this place.

Long time customer and LOVE THEM! But the building is empty. I was just there less then 2 weeks ago....Not sure where else to ask. Did they close or move?

First time going here with my daughter and I'm definitely coming back, my nail tech was Jenny, she was so nice and helpful. Pretty much she put me on a new favorite! I usually get gel sets with a rounded square tip, and this time i went with a soft pink and white hombre dip. She suggested a rounded coffin tip and I absolutely love it! I have big hands and have always been afraid of them looking so ugly but this finish makes my hands look dainty and pretty! My daughter wanted some nail art but the tech didn't do it, (that's the reason for the 4 stars.) and she felt bad to let him know, she told me after the fact. She is 12, i told her to take this as a learning experience and to say something next time

I've been going to J-Nails for years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Sam and Tim (and Nancy and everyone else there) all go the extra mile to make--and keep--their clients happy. They greet everyone in a friendly manner, have hundreds (maybe thousands) of colors, offer professional manis and pedis, and make it a point to talk to their customers during their services. It's so comfortable that customers even strike up conversations with each other. You leave feeling pampered and knowing that you got your money's worth. I don't need fancy chandeliers and a wine bar; all I need is J-Nails and its always great manicures/pedicures in a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks, J-Nails! You're the best!
