Great hair wash scalp massages. I have very dryish thick long curly hair. I come here to blow out my hair. J Hollywood gets in don in an hour and 20 minutes verses 6 hours at the Dominican salons. Quick clean hair scalp massages blowouts gray touch up's i go to J Hollywood. The only thing I didn't like I believed at one point they charged me more because of the texture and thickness of my hair. In other words my genetics. I didn't know salons did that it was the first for me. And they use a brush to comb through my wet hair which I believe breaks it. So I make sure my hair is detangled before I go. As a hair care and consult place not so good. As a hair styling place pretty ok
Well they ate good but you don't always get what you want .Had to understand . You showed a picture of what you would like to try , it is a hit or miss ..
New to the area, trying various salons to find the right fit. If you have ANY other hair type other than Straight, Long Hair, do not use this establishment. Worst haircut I have ever received! Check to see the stylists licenses, I doubt that they have them.
Always happy with my haircut. A friend of mine recommended this place and I have made them my only place to get my haircuts. I have tried different stylists and ALL of them have exceeded my expectations!
WARNING! I give ZERO stars to this business!!!! I had an appointment at this "J Hollywood" salon. I scheduled an appt to add highlights to my hair. My hair has been processed in the past. The stylist who clearly was not knowledgable at all, NEVER performed a strand test. What they FAILED to tell me was, THAT MY HAIR WOULD FALL OFF!!!!!!! The entire transaction was nothing short of unprofessional and stressful. When they washed my hair out and dried it, my hair LITERALLY fell out in sections!!!!!!! The stylist proceeded to do my hair and never mentioned my hair was falling out!!!!! Worst part of it all was, the stylist had the nerve to STILL charge me for this. I didn't notice the breakage until I left. The stylist was way to rough, he was burning my scalp with the blow dryer as well!!! Would not recommend this place to ANYONE!! I URGE EVERYONE to stay away from this place as I surely will. Lesson learned. *The back of my head in the photos were supposed to be blonde!!!! That's how much hair fell out!!!!*
