J Bentley Hair Studio & Day Spa in Powell, OH

I bought my wife a gift card from here for Christmas, told the person at the counter she would like a facial and message said no problem read me the prices and I agreed and added a 20 tip so my wife wouldn't have to pay for anything. Well, she comes home saying she needed to add 5 bucks plus added 20 bucks per person for the tip so she had to pay an additional 45 because of the person at the counters incompetence. Overpriced for what they offer. Your paying more because it's in Powell but give your customers what they paid for.

What I asked for vs what I got . Someone literally asked if I got my hair cut at great clips. Please listen to customers instead of deciding what you think is best for them !!! :---)

Great place for a day to relax. Maternity massage was awesome! They also do extensive hand and foot massages with the manicures and pedicures. Easy to schedule and great job at polish. Will definitely go back next time I'm in need of a spa day!

Absolutely awful... went there for a few years and one day was there for 3 hours and left with this as the final product and the bill was over $300... I am a natural blonde and had dyed my hair brown. I came into this appointment with brown hair trying to go back blonde. The lady said we will give you a Caramel balayage because going back blonde will take 3 years. This is what I was left with. Orange hair. Brown top. And beach blonde roots coming in from my natural.... after complaining in tears they agreed to give me half of my moneback... FOR THIS!!! Everyone I show this picture is in disbelief as they should be. Will never be returning and all my family and friends after seeing that picture have left as well. Charles Penzone is the best change I have ever made and I never leave feeling bad... always better.

I've been working with this salon for about a year. Had to transfer stylists when one went out on disability leave(they canceled on me same day) in which I was extremely accommodating. Today I had a color retouch appt scheduled which I do every 3 weeks and was running 10-15 min late as I had an emergency to take care of. So I called to let them know and they said no problem come on in. When I was just about to turn into the parking lot received a call back to say I'd have to reschedule with my stylist or see someone else in the spa later in the day. Hmm. I am left confused by this as I wouldn't have bothered to drive over. Now, I've not been late for an appt at this spa, am a very generous tipper and only ever require a simple color retouch and periodic cut. I felt the receptionist was less than helpful and not really owning that they had said it was ok to come on over. I also am disappointed at the blatant lack of disregard and obvious indifference in losing me as a customer. It's a shame really because both stylists I've worked with do great work (Brit and LeAnne). I guess maybe they have so many customers it doesn't much matter losing one. One last curiosity: why is it when stylist running late (which has happened a few times) that it's somehow ok but no apologies or discount offered but when I was running late ... sorry about your luck. Walking into Penzone now to get my color retouch done ... gotta go. We will see how this goes.
