J & M Beauty Salon in Queens, NY

Hair cut set and dry. I feel at home when I come here. The staff is professional and courteous. They will not allow you to leave unless you look amazing. If you want conversation, you get that. If you want peace and quiet you get that. The staff has been cutting hair for decades, it shows in the care they put into each cut and style. I recommend this salon.

Ronnie, who recently moved into the salon, is the best (I've been getting cuts from him for years). !! Cut, shampoo and blow-dry for only 35 dollars; and the haircut is just as good as you would get elsewhere for twice as much money. He also did very natural highlights for me, and I absolutely love them.

I've been going here for 5 + years or more. I recently went and had a horrible experience. Usually, I would shrug it off. I left the salon with one side a but longer than the other side. I went back and told them what happened, politely. It was corrected, but I am no longer satisfied with their customer service. I was not charged, but Disappointed. Although, I told her how i wanted it corrected, i see that she did not listen. On the quest of finding a new salon. Sad, because its been my go-to.

What can I say they always do a fabulous job. I always go there for my hair and makeup. If you looking for hairdressers that take the time on you and give you what you want than come to J&M all three ladies do a fantastic job. You have to book ahead time for makeup she only comes for appointments but she the best!

Not friendly do not expect a smile when you walk in. They look almost angry that you interrupted their Novela. But if you need a quick blow out don't expect a cheap one, it is $35 no matter the length or texture of your hair. No appointment needed, convenient location which is the only reason why i keep going back. But after my flat looking blow out today, i don't think I'll be returning.
