I got my hair done today by Ozlem and let me just say - I LOVE IT!! She was so friendly, warm, and understanding. She listened super well to my very poor description of what I wanted and turned it into reality! I also had an incredibly sweet stylist wash my hair when Ozlem was with another client. Each woman made the whole experience one of the best I've ever had at a salon. I am so thankful for their kindness, checking in with me, and making my first coloring in years a trip to remember. And again, I LOVE MY HAIR! Will be back to see the wonderful Ozlem. :)

Everyone working here is super nice. Shouting out Edna, who gave my kid exactly the short cut she wanted, it matched her reference photos well... And she did a lovely job navigating some 'client indecisiveness'!

I have never left a negative review on anything before. Especially a salon. My mom is a cosmetologist and used to own a salon so I know how hard it is to run a business and I know the stylists have good intentions when doing their client's hair. Unfortunately, my situation is so terrible that I feel like I have to warn future clients. I came in yesterday to ask for light brown hair (reference photo attached). I wanted one solid color all over my head, just slightly different from my original hair color. My hair was previously lightened around two years ago and I had colored it back to dark around a year ago so I understand it's a little more tricky to re-bleach my hair and that damage should be expected. However, I was never warned that around 40% of my hair would melt off from the mid down. As a hair stylist, you must inform your client of the LEVEL of damage. I understand that sometimes it's hard to gauge how much damage will be done, but as a professional with many many years in the industry, I'd expect you'd have a better idea or at least communicate the severe risk to your client. When I first sat down, the stylist (Shampa) told me that the double process to reach one solid color would be more tricky and 'a little damaging' to my hair and that balayage would be better, implying that balayage would be LESS damaging. She also stated that the balayage and the double process would be the same price so it was up to me. I went with balayage because hair health is more important than achieving any color and if it's the same price, might as well. However, I later came to find out that the double process would have been over $100 cheaper. So did she lie? I don't know. But what I do know is that my hair was completely melted off, likely due to the over-bleaching done by the stylist. At no point did I indicate that I wanted to go blonde and now I have about 4 shades of color in my hair and severe damage all over. to make matters worse, I was never told that the blow dry wasn't included with the hair color. That's not a huge deal, I can look past that. However, when it came to drying my hair and blow drying it, the stylist said that she couldn't finish because she didn't want to tug at my hair. (Keep in mind, at this point I had no idea how damaged my hair was. I thought it was only tangled because of the balayage method). I left the salon with wet roots and tangled hair. Of course, when it was time to pay I was still charged the full $50 for the blow dry. I left the salon with my entire head smelling so strongly of bleach and in complete confusion as to what just happened. Of course, I tipped highly and left the salon in shock because I was too nice to say anything. (Big mistake on my part). It's my birthday today. I saved up for MONTHS to get this done. I paid $540 to get my hair burnt off and have a color that I didn't ask for. Today I called, and I explained the situation kindly. Celeste, who answered the phone seemed like a nice girl, but to be honest their response was very disheartening. They offered me repair treatments but at this point, I do not have anything to repair. My hair is gone. She kept emphasizing that the stylist had 'warned me' about damage but the truth is the stylist did NOT at ANY point tell me the potential severity of the damage. She said 'a little damaged' - to me, and many people out there this implies minor breakage, dryness, and split ends. This is not equivalent to telling your client that a huge part of their hair could break off. They have a 'NO REFUND' policy which I find to be unprofessional. When you destroy someone's hair, the least you can do is give them a refund or at LEAST a partial refund. They wouldn't even refund me for the $50 blow dry... it's sad. I appreciate them trying to offer me treatment to fix my hair but in all honestly, I don't even know how I could step foot into this salon, or any other salon ever again. I'm traumatized by this experience. Please avoid this salon for any sort of color treatment. No matter how much they damage your hair, their 'no refund' policy is a risk you should not be willing to take, especially if you care about your hair.

Please avoid if you can. Had a piece of my hair chopped off because the stylist was overbooked and her mind was not fully on me but with another client. Find another option...
