Inya Hair Salon in Phoenix, AZ

Inya was kind enough to get me in on short notice after my stylist canceled on me at the last minute. She discussed my options with me in detail and answered all of my questions. I was scheduled with Brian and drove from Flagstaff for my 11:30 am appointment. I arrived a little early and sat comfortably outside their suite until Brian was ready for me, which was promptly at 11:30, to my surprise and delight. I found Brian to be affable, insightful and I enjoyed chatting with him. And the best part of it all, he was incredibly gentle! Getting my hair done remains one of the most uncomfortable and painful of experiences, even as a 30-year old woman. I had just resigned myself to having my head assaulted every time but Brian made me realize that it's totally possible to have my hair braided without immense pain. I could hardly believe it. He did a spectacular job, provided valuable insight on hair care and respected my wishes. And, to top it off, I snagged a gorgeous dress in their boutique that was just my size! I rebooked with Brian and look forward to returning.

I booked a genie ponytail with Brian on 9/21 and received several reminders for my upcoming appointment and confirmed I will be there 10/3 @ 1PM through their appointment booking system. I arrived a little early and waited patiently for Brian to arrive. There were two other stylist in the room, one was servicing a client and the other, Courtney, was setting up for hers. At about 10 after, the other stylist attempted to contact Brian unsuccessfully, but Courtney asked if I needed my hair washed and I said yes. Courtney was really sweet and washed my hair, gave me a consultation about how to remedy my hair breakage and stuck me under the dryer. Brian had not arrived yet and no one heard from him. I sat under the dryer a good while and when it turned off, I moved to Brian's chair. By now, it's in the 2 o'clock hour and Brian still had not shown up and no one heard from him. At 2:30, I decided to leave. One of the stylists asked if I wanted to continue waiting or come back later to get my hair done but I declined. I'd already wasted 2.5 hours of my day waiting for someone that confirmed he'd be there and never showed. I've had stylist be late but never no show before and unfortunately I left a beauty salon looking worse than when I entered.

My hair was stiff, fried, and shedding everywhere!! I'm so glad I made an appointment and was able to talk about my hair concerns as well as come up with a game plan that will help my hair grow and bring it back to a healthy state!! The Boutique is extremely clean and so cute. The prices are extremely reasonable and she is very knowledgeable about hair. I was so Happy with the outcome my hair was very bouncy and healthy after she was done hooking my hair up!!! I almost forgot she washed my hair so good I could almost swear she Massaged my headache away, that was a Bonus babe!! Today I did a wash,deep conditioner and major trim.. Goodbye dry hair hello Celebrity hair!!!!

I had an appointment with Inya but I seen another stylist cause Inya wasn't there and this stylist know nothing about my natural hair I didn't get a counciltation or anything on what she's going to be doing with my hair I left with soaking wet hair she even ask me did I wanted to leave her a tip I said no, terrible salon experience I want be returning.

My first appointment was fine, stylist was on time and nice.My second appointment is the reason I won't go back. My stylist was an hour late, didn't offer and explanation for and didn't apologize for it either. It interfered with my plans for the rest of the evening.
