Indulge in Ann Arbor, MI

I've been getting my hair cut here for almost 6 years and have been extremely satisfied with price and service. Nice environment and friendly people. Great haircut. Larry is my guy for the past year, and he's really good.

Wendy Lynn has been keeping my hair look its best for over a year now and I couldn't be happier! The color is gorgeous, natural looking and since I like to keep my hair long, Wendy gives it just the right cut to add some movement. Lots of talent, fun and down to earth - Wendy don't ever move!

I was extremely happy with my visit--great stylist, very personable, very relaxing, wonderful haircut...until it came time to pay. I've visited this salon sporadically for several years and have consistently paid $30-35 for my haircut (not including tip) and have been able to do so with my debit card--facts I've reassured myself of with a glance through my online bank history. But today I was told the cut would be $50 and cash/check only...No one warned me about this when I made my appointment! I wouldn't have minded so much (really, it's a great cut) if someone had just TOLD me, but it was EXTREMELY embarrassing to be left standing there feeling overcharged and to also have to run out to extract cash from the ATM ($3 fee, mind you) AND to still have to give a tip. I still like my new haircut...but feel like the salon is slipping with customer service and was really uncommunicative--why do all of the stylists charge differently? Why not just have one price board? Especially with the other reviewer on Yelp quoting a similar price to what I've paid in the past, how was I supposed to know to expect anything different? I located the salon's Facebook page, and notice my stylist's name (and pricing) isn't even up *there*. So where do these magic numbers come from?? I'm really really frustrated, because this has been my favorite salon so far in Ann Arbor...To go back, or not to go back? Regardless of the mystery pricing, I hope they wise up and all of the stylists allow customers to pay by card--this is the 21st century, people, who even carries cash around any more?

Have seen Donna for the past 6 months and she gives great haircuts for men or women. Very easy going and skillful.

I was a walk in client for my first appointment and was lucky enough to get Amber as my stylist. She did an amazing job and was so nice! She made me feel so comfortable and was very personable. The first time I just got a trim and I was very happy with it. The second time I went back, which was about two months later, I had her cut a significant amount off of my hair and I love it! She even remembered details of the conversation we had the first time I was there! I am not one of those girls who spends hundreds of dollars on my hair so Indulge is wonderful for my bank account ($30.00 for a cut) and I would recommend Amber to anyone. The salon is small but very nice and comfortable.
