I had a perm with Victoria and was very pleased. She was fast and careful. I was visiting from California and had wanted to get a perm before the trip but everything in CA was closed due to the virus. I was pleased to find an open salon. And ecstatic when it was such a great perm. I will be back visiting next year and will plan on getting another perm with her. Plus the price is very reasonable.
I bought a tanning package here and tanned for the first time with this salon this week. I'm a regular tanner, but wanted to try this salon as it's more conveniently located. I went in to bed 3, a 20 minute bed, for my regular amount of time, 20 mins. When I got home, I felt a little burned but wasn't overly concerned- maybe new bulbs, I thought. By the time I went to bed 3 hours later, my entire back side was bright red with stripes running down where the spacers between bulbs had been. The worst of the burn manifested a day and a half-2 days after tanning, where I was unable to sleep, dress and it hurt to even move. I have blisters and second degree burns down my back. Today I called the salon and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Penny, who was incredibly unapologetic and said that the burns were my fault- I should have tanned for less time. I told her I always tan for 20 minutes and have never burned like this, but she insisted that it was not their problem. I will certainly not be returning and warn others against doing the same.
