D & D Nails in Rushville, IN

I came again after feeling like my hands were raw after, forgetting that this happened the last time, and unfortunately again, she was using a drill and left an open wound on my pinky finger, not apologizing nor cleaning it properly. She went over it with her fingers with the dust leftover from my previous set of nails, and I did not feel like that was sanitary, professional, or considerate at all. She even seemed bothered that I showed concern..

Unfortunately every time I come here my hands feel like they've been through it, they use the tools too hard and even after saying "ouch that hurts" they continue to file too hard into the cuticles.

The final product is nice, but having sore hands after is not worth it. Hate to leave a bad review, I like coming here because I feel like they make my nails look danty and cute, but after this experience I don't feel comfortable. I hope that this can be a learning tool.

I go to the shop often as it's close to home. The shop can get very busy and I have waited as long as an hour for a fill in with gel polish. Today I went in and it was not busy so I decided to get a pedicure and a fill in with gel polish.

I sat in a massage chair while they were doing my pedicure and it was very relaxing. I got the deluxe pedicure with gel polish. The deluxe includes cleaning up the calluses, sugar scrub, and massage with oil at the end.

Next I moved on to a fill-in and gel polish. This time it was one of the men who did my fill. There are a couple men and a couple women.

I think they do quality work at this shop and I have been to many different ones. The pedicure, fill in, and both with gel polish cost $85.

I plan to continue to go to the shop. Come by and give it a try. They do not take appointments.

I was in Rushville for graduation weekend. My daughter and I decided to treat ourselves to pedicures on Saturday. For the most part, we were enjoying the experience. I noticed the man digging a little too deep at my cuticles, but I figured it was normal. That night my big toe was in pain. It's now 5 days later and my toe is bruised and still very painful. I can't even wear a closed toed shoe. (Also, before I left I had to have my toenails repainted because there was paint on only about 3/4 of each toe.)

I used to go here to get my nails quite often when they first opened. The service was always friendly and the prices were affordable and I always left happy. However, recently I went in there and I was no longer impressed. The prices were way too high, and I don't know the name of the man who did my nails but he was extremely rude and seemed very unhygienic. His fingernails were very dirty and he was giving off a foul smell and I had a hard time sitting there waiting for him to finish. Once I was done, I went to pay and he tried to charge me $45 for a full set of acrylics which their sign states that acrylic full sets are only $30. I did not ask for anything special or any accessories so it was just a basic full set that should have not required any additional charges. Very disappointed with the direction this establishment is heading. They could do much better.
