Well...I thought it would be a wonderful and beautiful plus reasonably priced visit, NOPE!! I would not recommend this place at all, I can see why they got me in tight away, no appointment needed. 1st red flag! 2nd, asked how much it would cost to fill with acrylic, I showed her and my nail missing, she told me 35.00, went and got it done...horrible and most uncomfortable sitting EVER! The whole time she talked in her foreign language to another, didn't at all try and strike up a conversation...so of course the whole time I keep thinking I should of went to my gal, I so appreciate my gal but was in a hurry. OK, so...now to pay, she charges my cars 42.80, I asked her why it was that price, she said cause she charged it, no explanation, I shook it off...until I get the debit notification saying she went on and changed it to 51.00 almost 52.00, oh HELL NO!!! THIS IS NOT GOOD, VERY BAD BUISNESS, IM PISSED. Also my nails look like crap in the sun. I am so upset and angry in how they cheated me out, what are they doing to others?
Picture says it all....I asked for a natural looking French manicure. (with tips to make my nails longer) The tech misunderstood when I asked for "tip" and thought I wanted "white tips". After multiple times of mentioning I desired a NATURAL look with a French manicure...I walked out with chunky French-whatever this is. I shared I was not happy with my nails and am not willing to pay full cost for a poor manicure job. With tears in my eyes of feeling embarrassed that I'm going back and forth with this tech meanwhile other customers are present, she made it seem like it was my fault and that I asked for the wrong thing. I refrained from making comments while my nails were being worked o because I was simply trusting the process. On top of that, there was barely any prep to my nails, she didn't do my cuticles at all, and just overall the job was poorly done.
I love Hollywood Nails been going there for years. They've always did an outstanding job on my nails. And they are taking precautions with the Covid.Would not go any other place. Can't wait until they open to get my nails done today. Thank you TY also Anne and everyone else...
Called and made appointment ahead of time. When I arrived at appointment time was told I would have to wait 10 minutes because they had nobody available to help.
My mom has been going to this location for more than a decade. She was very happy with some of their work and it was convenient for her before. Recently she has been going and they don't seem to want to help with what she is asking. She has broken English so sometimes she expresses exactly what she wants but they seem to choose the fastet and cheapest option. Which frustrates her but she still pays and goes about her day.
Recently she stopped going because she noticed fungus on her nails from the last time she was there. They need to work on customer service and cleanliness because this is how she got the fungus from someone not properly cleaning their tools. On the customer service part they are a business that serves their customers so they should look to give their customers what they are asking for without judgment or assumptions.
