Hollywood Hair Studios in Fredericksburg, VA

This was my second appointment and I thought I had found a new place to get my hair done, I was really excited because I loved Angela, she did an awesome job styling my hair during my first appointment. That being said, this salon seems to have an issue with appointment times and time management. I had an appointment on a Saturday morning at 7:30am. I had made the appointment several weeks in advance and received several texts reminders of the appointment. I get there Saturday morning and the building and the salon were locked...no stylists were there. My stylist called me at 7:40am telling me she was on the way and she didn't have a key to open the building or the salon but was going to call another stylist to see if she could come open the doors to the building and the salon. WHY do you have early morning times advertised and you allow clients to make appointments if the salon isn't actually opened?? After waiting until 8:15am and the salon was still not opened, I decided my time was too valuable to waste and left. I traveled from Vienna, which means I left early enough to be there on time in case of traffic. Please don't allow clients to book early appointments if the salon isn't actually opened at that time, we are all professionals and ALL of our time is valuable. BTW, there were TWO other clients that had early morning appointments with other stylists and were told to come back at 8:30am. This is not a good look.

I will say it all started well and my experience while at the shop was fine. I was a new customer she didn't take time to consult me or learn what I do with my hair. I got a deep condition blow out and trim. I have natural hair and once I got home and returned my hair to its curly state it no longer curled as it used to. I experienced severe heat damage that I could not reverse and had to cut those pieces out of my hair. Also she trimmed a lot of my hair off more then needed to be. Needless to say the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. But because my hair was damaged I will not be returning. I cannot even express how angry I am about my hair it has been ruined by this shop.

Tiara R. is amazing, talented, efficient, personable (all the ladies are friendly), has 'growing hands' (lol) and efficient. I'm in and out within an hour and a half (that's with a texturizer and roller set dry). Hair looks and feels better than when I was in NY. Oh! Salon is beautiful!! I recently moved from NY to VA (stafford). I have 4b/4a hair type with a history of seborrheic eczema. I had a regimen with my hair care when I was in NY and used (mostly) one hair salon.

Tiara Robinson was my stylist...Keisha did my wash and condition. I do not trust many people with my hair...but i was So impressed and happy. They were quick but thorough. I got a blow out and silk wrap. It turned out BEAUTIFUL. I was out in about an hour and a half.

I have found my new salon. Moving from NC I have tried several salons but no one could do my hair where it looked healthy and shiny but felt light. Shautae is fabulous and the owner Tina keeps me laughing. My hair feels and looks amazing. After medication made my hair fall out I wore extensions for years. She finally made me comfortable to go without weave. I plan on being a regular
