Holly Nails in Mt Airy, NC

This business advertises closing at 7pm. I even called ahead and was told they closed at 7pm. Drove over 30 minutes there and checked in at 6:15pm sit in lobby for 10 minutes 3 ladies then came in back door and told me that they were closed. Want be back.

Do not go here unless you want nail fungus and your nails ground down to nothing for long term damage.  They use the dremel  to remove the old SNS and clear coat for soak off which is a no-no.  You're supposed to use the rough nail file.  Sadly, they do a great job but their SNS and Gel removal is incorrect and will result in nail fungus.

I have sadly forgotten the name of the lovely woman who took care of me but she did so well on my nails and made me feel so welcome even after I accidentally messed them up lol. My nails came out amazing, obsessed!!!

This nail salon is a poor excuse of a business. Please do not waste your time, money, or energy here. Me and my wife went to get a pedicure last Saturday morning. First off, when we got there, they were extremely rude. The older lady seemed very aggravated that we were there to receive THEIR services. We were fully prepared to pay $150.. so, I am guessing they do not care about promoting their business or making money. My wife had a young man do her pedicure. He was kind and seemed to be taking his time (since we had asked for the deluxe pedicure with paraffin wax and a hot stone massage). However, I received the grumpy old lady. She completely ruined this entire experience and let me say, I will NEVER return. She rushed through the pedicure. She did not massage my feet or legs. She was very rude.. to the point I almost said something to her face. She was rushing so much that the plastic covering between me and her (that supposedly keeps all the COVID germs away) was nearly smacking me in the face. Also, I asked her to tuck in the towel on my legs because it was falling off, and she continued to rip the towels off. She did not respond or anything. She just decided that part was finished, I guess. This was the most pitiful excuse of a pedicure I have ever had. Granted, I am a man, with little to no experience. However, I know bad service when I see it. Save your money, and go someplace where they will actually treat you with respect.

Rude and even seemed irritated we were there. No temps taken as stated on the door and even told us no when we asked for manicures to be added to our appointment. Guess they don't like money. Happily went less than 2 miles away to a place that accommodated us happily and I was happy to spend over $200 there! Need to improve your hopitality practices.
