Cali Nails in Mt Airy, NC

So, I'm trying to find a place this summer where I can get a decent gel manicure and pedicure.

I made an appointment for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. When the arrived and picked out my pedicure color, she told me that I did not schedule for a pedicure. I said to don't know what he wrote but I definitely scheduled both. Then she seemed pot out because I wanted to soak off the previous dip manicure. So, this didn't start right. I said "forget the pedicure let's just do the nails."

They do not sterilize their manicure instruments.

The cuticle trimming, which should be part of the manicure is an extra $5.00, as is the soak off.

Now, I am looking at this manicure and it's awful. The nails on my left hand are shorter than the right hand. The index finger on the right is filed to a distinct point when I wanted rounded. Now I'll go home and make them all even.

So not up to my picky standard.

We had an appointment at 11:30 for 3 pedicures and got there at exactly 11:30.
As soon as we got there the owner i assume rudely started saying "if you wanted 3 pedicures you should have been here sooner" apparently on our way (we live 35 minutes away) he supposedly called us to tell us this but there was no missed call. We agreed to not do the one nail appointment we had scheduled so that we could get the 3 pedicures done and he still just sat there and argued with us, when we was there when we was told to be there. He was so RUDE and should not be working with the public.
So we went down the road to essence nail (our usual. Place) and they KINDLY fit us in all while working on 12 other clients. JUST GO TO ESSENCE NAILs!

I was visiting Mt Airy and had a nail "lift.,"  so stopped in Cali nails.  Even though they had no appointments available, the nice man working today fixed my nail and put a coat of clear so they all looked uniform.  Very nice service!

I've gone to every single nail salon in the area, but when I came to this one I knew this was the only one I'd ever come back to. Lovely service, lovely staff, clean establishment, and amazing quality. I can't recommend this place enough! :)

I'm on a short trip visiting the area and was in dire need of a pedicure.  They took me promptly on Monday morning.  Even though the business is located in an older plaza, I was super excited at how clean everything was!  Great job...good price .... they obviously have a good following as there was a steady stream of clients.
