High Tech Salon & Spa in Staunton, VA

I took my time to write this review since it's been two months since my service I feel like I'm like ready... I had my eye liner tattooed on and which is an expensive venture so I don't want anyone else falling for it! After my original service I was not satisfied and I went back for a touch up in November and I paid to have both the top and bottom done originally and the first service I could barely tell. But after the services healed I couldn't tell at all! When I went back in November I can see a little difference on the top but the bottom is non existent... so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement! I hope this helps someone cause I went over reviews before my visits and thought I was making a good choice now I feel as if I was ripped off! What a great birthday present to be non existent after all this time and money!

I went here to get my hair retouched, my hair was previously blond and i had some really out grown roots, i have gotten my hair bleached multiple time before and they were able to lift my hair in just one session, i came here and i was taken in by Madison i showed her what i wanted and she said she could do it, mind you the first picture is what i wanted and thats also my hair in the picture, when she started it looked like she was doing hilights in my hair but i was trusting the process after we got done with my hair i took a look and it was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT then what i had asked for. i told her i didn't like it and she knew i was really upset some how she tried to justify her messing up by saying "i can't lift ur hair in one session" the second picture is what she did to my hair and as you can see its ginger. NO WERE NEAR BLOND. i told her i didn't like it and i even came back because i was really upset. and she still charged me $255 for someone I DID NOT ASK FOR. this was a completely terrible experience. someone has never messed up my hair this badly and i didn't even get a discount and apology NO NOTHING. i advise you guys to save ur money and go somewhere els. Because no even even tried to help me or fix my hair.

On a recent visit to friends in the area, I really needed a haircut and style. After reading reviews on several salons, I decided to try the High Tech Salon and am so glad I did! This is not your ordinary hair salon, each of the stylists runs his or her own business and you go into a separate room. Reminds me of a salon visit a few months ago, at a high end spa in Naples, where each stylist had their own room at the spa. The Naples visit cost a lot more, but the quality of the service in Staunton was as good as or better. Gwen did an amazing job with my hair, she listened and understood the look I was going for and she made it happen. Their website is nicely done, with prices listed upfront, no surprises there, and you can read a bio on each stylist. Reading about the type of hair service they specialize in, can help you narrow down the search for a good hair stylist. Everyone is friendly and they are happy to bring you water or coffee while you wait. My hair looks amazing and I wish they had a branch in Naples!

Way overpriced. if you want all the "extras" and you want to be in a place that looks as though it should be in Hollywood, then this is the place for you. It must cost a fortune to operater the place. The people who work there sort of look down on you. The atmosphere is not friendly at all. I felt very uncomfortable when I was there. Very "uppity" salon. They have like 20 stylists and their prices differ from one to another. You can get the same service at other salons in the area for way less. They brainwash you into thinking they are the best. You are paying for them to operate a spa as well as having estheticians and all the extras that you don't need in a salon if you only want a good cut and color. I had a very bad experience with one of the stylists who works there and will not go back.

I've been going to Madi for months for Brazilian waxes and each time she is amazing. She is quick and pays attention to her efficiency. The atmosphere in her room is always so relaxing, I've gotten a facial from her as well and she gives the best facial massages! I will forever recommend her!
