asked for one thing and got another. The first time I received services here. I was so happy. I even brought another person when I came back. It's def not even close to what I wanted. I wanted blonde highlights and now I have more red/orange, there's banding, the front doesn't look done at all. My hair looks like an absolute freaking mess and I'm devastated. I showed them an inspo pic and stated I wanted the pic. Couldn't do the ombré/balayage effect. They couldn't do it. Which is/was fine. However I said I wanted the blonde that is at the ends for my highlight service. My hair was blonder before. Edit. I will not be returning for a fix or anything. I saw your generic response to my review. Do not trust my hair to be done by your establishment . My hair is awful. I have never been so embarrassed in my life over getting my hair done by professionals.
I did not realize how short my hair was till I got home and looked in the mirror. I asked for a pixie styled cut not a butch cut. I never have gotten my hair cut that short. Not sure why the tech thought I wanted a butch cut. Now am I not sure if I ever want to come back to the Haircuttery.
Who knew getting a haircut could be so difficult. Made an appointment then was called and told that they couldn't accommodate my appointment time could I change it? Yes I did to arrive and be told I was called that morning with a message that they couldn't accommodate my time. I didn't not receive the message about the cancellation.
Went and got a quick trim and thinning before leaving for vacation.... big mistake!! The lady didn't even thin my hair which I asked her to and my hair is so uneven!!! It's so choppy! Never again! :(((
The stylist Dawn was absolutely amazing. My eight-year-old daughter was absolutely thrilled with her new hair color. Dawn is truly an expert stylist. I highly recommend Dawn and the Hair Cuttery in Staunton. Safe environment during the pandemic.
