Henry Rose Salon in Liberty, MO

This past Tuesday September 6th was my first visit and far from my last! I had moved up north from Olathe and am so glad I found Caitlin. This is my third salon in the KC metro area and the one I am keeping!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Caitlin. Seriously wish I had found her sooner. She is absolutely wonderful.

When I was hesitant about adding layers to my hair she sensed that and recommended an alternative - add long layers- so we went with that! I was so glad for that alternative recommendation because I have long hair and wear it up A LOT and this recommendation makes that easier!

Cannot say enough good things about Caitlin.

For those not from this area of Liberty, there are some one way streets to navigate so allow a few more minutes than your GPS shows.

I am a new client of Caitlin's and after the first visit I am sold and will be returning!  I have wavy hair and was tired of straightening it everyday and was ready to embrace my waves.  Caitlin was recommended by several people as someone who understands curls, so I made an appointment.  She asked many questions about my normal hair routine and what I liked about that routine.  She very much understands what you like/don't like about your hair, before she takes the scissors to your head :)

This is by far my favorite go-to for hair in the KC area.
Caitlin is so great to bring reality to hair vision. I have naturally red hair and have had other salons simply not understand how various shades of red work when you want highlights/lowlights, but Caitlin has nailed it every time.
I've been a client of some well-known salons downtown and in Overland Park but after my first visit to Henry Rose, I will choose this salon every time.
Always flexible with scheduling, prices are right on point, and the ambiance of a quaint shop in the heart of Liberty Square is just icing on the cake.
Make your appointment and add some time on your calendar to walk the square to show off your hair! Trust me... you'll thank me later!

You may think to yourself that it is unusual a bald guy would write a review for a hair salon. And if that was the case, you would be correct...that is unusual.

However, it is not I who gets my hair cut at Henry Rose, but I take my kids there to get their hair cut (boys and girls), and Caitlin does a great job on both of them.

I have tried the traditional chain haircut places for the kids, but they just are not consistent enough in their performance, even with the same stylist. I have one kid with hair like a mop, and another I like cut in a very specific way, and the chain places just can't get it right.

Is part of that my explanation? Probably. But at a smaller salon like Henry Rose, Caitlin can take the time to figure out what it is you want, even if you can't explain it yourself. Which probably happens more than any of us would like to admit.

I would highly recommend Henry Rose Salon. I mean, think about a hair salon just like food; who makes a better burger, McDonalds or Hamburger Marys? Wendy's or LC's? Sonic or Town Topic? So if the smaller, more local joints beat the big chains in the food industry, why would anyone think it would be different with a haircut?

That's called a rhetorical question: it isn't. Go to Henry Rose!
