Over all I like this place. It's convenient to run too in a pinch, usually has decent prices and quality items to choose from. The only down side is... some of his products "shampoo, conditioner, styling creams" are expired and or very old. Sometimes very dusty too. The owner is very friendly and somewhat knowledgeable to his products. If you live near by it's a great corner store to choose from.

I have shopped at the store for years and I have never had the bad experiences that other people are talking about. Yes, the owner is very reserved. He is not super friendly but he has never treated me badly. He has a very strong accent and can sometimes be difficult to understand. But he's always been polite to me. He's even given me tips on how to best use the hair dye. . This is the only place I buy hair dye.

Honestly not sure how this place is still open. I truly believe this store is a front for a money laundering scheme or something. If you are going to supplies like hair gel or dye you might be ok but check the expiration dates. Don't go there looking for any kind of braiding hair or weave. You won't find 2 of the same items!

I will admit that the owner has the potential to rub someone the wrong way if you arn't familiar with his demeanor. I have been a customer off and on through the years depending on my needs and it makes me feel valued that he recognizes who I am everytime. I also like the wide variety of beauty items.

The worst service I have ever experienced!!!!! I'm a Store Manger at a high end retail store and the way I was treated was barbaric! I came into the store to purchase hair extensions. The owner who was helping me was not very helpful and seemed he just wanted me to just buy anything for a profit. As I walked out of the store into the sunlight I looked at the hair and it was way to yellow for my hair. So I walked in and asked if he had anything else. He said this is all I have. At this time there was a line behind me , so I just said you know I can't find anything I'll go ahead and make my return . He pushes my item out of the way and looks at the guest behind me and calls them up at the cashier. I said sir I'm not done. He began to get angry and yell "no return for you!!!!! " as there's about five people behind me he's yelling at me calling me stupid white girl and telling me to shut up little girl. At this point he disrespected me! I told him I just walked out for two seconds and you can make me happy and do an return? He began to yell more at me where I was in tears! I was embarrassed by the way he was yelling at me. He finally allowed me to do an exchange so I began looking around and I can hear me talking about me to other clients in the store calling me stupid. So I went the cashier, and had my items ready for the exchange. All of sudden he changed his mind and was like no you don't do exchange. Told me to get out. I was so frustrated !!! His just told me I can do an exchange! He kept arguing at me and calling me names , so I told him I was going to call the police! He was going to keep the extensions and not let me do my exchange!! He was stealing from me! The name calling and yelling I had to have the police come! He was being a racist because I was white and he kept calling me stupid white girl! So finally I pick up my phone he gives in and let's me do the exchange! I had never been treated with that disrespect in my life. His needs to treat his customers with respect! The fact that it's a self own store I can't go to corporate, wish I could bc he needs to change his ways. I would never speak to any of my clients that way! I treat my clients like family because they help me keep my job and place food on my table for my daughter. If I were you never shop here at this store!!!! He needs to not be allowed to be a store owner!!!
