My 9 year old daughter was looking to get her haircut to donate to "Locks of Love" while we were on vacation in Greenport recently. A friend who lives in town recommended Heather's Place and we are delighted that he did; we couldn't have been happier. Heather was very welcoming, professional, and not only did a great job with the hair cut, she was wonderful with my daughter and made it into a special experience (and was extra patience with us, as there were a few of us in our group). A friend's daughter also had a haircut while we were there and was also very pleased. The salon itself was spacious, clean and welcoming; and the prices very reasonable for the services. Overall, it was a great experience, I would not only highly recommend Heather's but I look forward to getting a haircut myself next time we are in town.
Don't even bother wasting your time or money. I went in for a toner for brassy blond hair. I showed the stylist a picture of the shade I was going for ( a white ashy blonde) asking BEFOREHAND if it was possible to achieve that color and if it wasn't that was fine and I would go elsewhere. She said yes and $55 and 2 hours later my hair looked EXACTLY the same as when I walked in brassy but now dried out and frizzy. She said well in order to achieve that color you'd have to come in again for highlights and blah blah. After I originally asked if it was possible to achieve with JUST a toner and she said YES. They charged me full price and told me there was nothing they could do. Never again.
