Inconsistent, immature and unprofessional. Does not take feedback well, defensive. In five years, I never got the same style twice. I brought in pictures, was encouraging and supportive and felt dismissed and unheard -- and distraction was everywhere. I need to go to a grownup who is focused on me when I am in the chair..

Just moved to the area. Courtney did a wonderful cut on my beached hair that I had cut perhaps once in two years with whatever scissors were around. She blended the breakage, helped with the thickness-I felt better about myself. Very nice people and I plan on returning!

I was in yesterday afternoon at 2:00 for a hair cut. , I was very nervous as I hadn't had a cut in a year ,& going somewhere new is always nerve racking . I was very off put by the stylist who looked annoyed when she saw me , so that left a bad taste in my mouth , the receptionist was lovely very sweet . I told Courtney I wanted long layers with face framing pieces , I showed her a photo , the pieces in the front are nothing like what I asked for , I said I was scared of change and loved curtain bangs but really scared to do something new . She went and chopped my bangs so short , they're to my nose , not my chin like I asked , and like the photo I showed her . When I noticed right away and said that's really short , she said oh it's not styled yet ! And tried to tell me well the picture.. she gave me nothing even close to what I wanted . I left angry and upset I went to bed angry and upset and I woke up the same . I'm very very disappointed with my haircut and thought if I played with it at home ,& slept on it I'd like it , I shouldn't have to convince my self to like something . I hate what she did I've never hated a hair cut so much . You were highly recommended and I'd never recommend anyone to go to your salon unfortunately.

I was able to put my Covid isolation research on best hair colorist & stylist/ Salon in the Hudson Valley to personal trial this past week. Jasmine Attalla, a co-owner absolutely made my Senior Pandemic look into a stunning, modern style. The color is exactly what I asked for, Jasmine listened & executed perfectly. We had a consultation b/4 & she addressed my concern that the clientele appeared to be young & I wasn't. I left after making a dozen future appts. I felt Covid safe,immaculate environment but not uptight or stuffy. Everyone who has seen me, virtually has asked for Jasmine's #. See below for b/4 & after. It's astounding.

The stylists over at Headspace are all incredible, and if you get the chance to have any one of them touch your hair, you should consider yourself blessed. Jasmin is the one who always does my hair, and whether it's a full balayage or just a toner and a blowout, I always leave feeling transformed. They are kind, they are miracle workers, and to be honest, I would gladly pay triple what they charge if they asked me to. One particular thing I really appreciate about all three is their honesty. They will always talk through your vision with you, let you know if it's truly attainable, and then knock your socks off instead of over-promising and under-delivering. If you're looking for the best hair of your life, a way to support local business, or even just an hour of drama-free chit chat with strong women, Headspace is the place to be.
