LJ Neon Nails Salon in Saugerties, NY

Worst pedicure! Took her less than 20 min with everything. I dried the nails on the fan for 10 min and kept wearing the sandals. After three hours polish was still not dry and looked horrible. After one day, the polish peeled off. No bueno!

No lotion and not your normal manicure....and dirty place. Worst manicure ever! No oil for your cuticles! They need to really close.

My granddaughter and I had a horrible experience at this shop. The nail polish was coming off within minutes of leaving the shop. Unfortunately they are they are the only shop in town. Never again!

I'm from out of town and I had a nail emergency where my nail ripped half-off under my skin and was bleeding. I was able to just run in and they quickly saw me and fixed the problem and fixed another nail in the process. So grateful for them. Thank you!!

I never leave reviews, but my experience here was by far the worst customer service I've ever received. TLDR: Salon manager/owner yelled at me when I asked him to change the channel on the loud television showing animal killing each other I am a visitor to Saugerties, so this was my first time at this salon. I don't expect a lot from a salon like this; just do the nails quickly and effectively. I don't need a lot friendliness. But I don't expect abuse! Here, a woman and man were minding the shop. The TV behind me was showing a violent nature special, wild animals hunting and feasting. Loudly. I thought it was strange, but my back was to it. But as she started my nails, I heard animals crying behind me. One was a lion cub sitting abandoned in the field. I know this is how nature works, but I'm an animal lover and I found it very unpleasant. I asked the woman if she could please change the channel because I found animals' crying upsetting. She didn't seem to understand me, so I repeated myself. That's when the man, who was sprawled on the couch watching this program, said: "Do you have a problem?" His voice was raised and had an aggressive tone. When I responded that I just asked the channel to be changed, he went into a tirade: "Do your have a problem? You watch the other TV. This is the way animals are. They're happy. You have an attitude problem. You asked all angry." I don't think I asked in an angry way at all -- I think my tone simply indicated my surprise and agitation over such a strange choice of show. When I turned back to the woman, he continued to shout at me. I said, "If he's going to keep speaking to me like this, I don't think I want to continue." She looked to him, put down the tools and shrugged. I was able to put my coat on in peace. By this time he had changed the channel. Great thanks. As I left, he came up behind me. He didn't get too close, but his posturing made me uncomfortable. Can't believe this place is getting 5-stars. They may be competent technicians, but the man rules the salon with an iron fist, customers be damned.
