Haute Dogge Grooming Salon in Franklin, TN

Haute Dogge Grooming in Franklin is where I have taken my golden doodle for quite a while now. I make an appointment time in the morning and they call you when your dog is ready. Sometimes they call at 1pm, but usually it is after 3pm. I recently also started sending my long-haired dachshund. I always feel bad about it when they go because when they come home, they run to their bowl and guzzle water. It's a full day ordeal.

Well, today, I drop them off a few minutes before the designated "appointment" time, 10 AM. I realized at 12:45 I needed to get them before 2pm but thought that should be doable. So I called asking if they'd be ready by 1:45 (almost FOUR HOURS AFTER I DROPPED THEM!). Attendant said no. They had another dog in front of them for grooming. So they had been there almost 3 hours and had been bathed. I said fine I can't wait until 3 (again, 5 hours there!) so I'll just come get them..."what do I owe for the TWO BATHS". I understand they just aren't done yet.

They said $183!!! (I pay $210 for full grooming!) I said surely there's some mistake, there's no way I'm paying $183 for two baths. Attendant said I could speak with the manager when I arrived. (They had no intention of yielding on this.)

So because I cannot wait the full *five hours* for them to finish the appointment that I set for 10 AM they are charging me $183 to retrieve my dogs after two baths.

Take that for what you will. I find it completely unacceptable.

Because I find it best to not walk back in there with how I now feel about them at this point, my husband called back and told them to please finish the grooming job and he will pick them up later. For that the charge is $210. I will never recommend this place to anyone

It's impossible to get them to answer the phone and they do not return voicemails. Having to physically drive to them to even make an appointment is not ideal. Pricing is a bit high and the cuts are standard, but they have made it impossible to reach them.

Charged $65 plus tip for a "bath, cut, and nails," and "deshedding treatment," but they didn't actually do a cut, and they clipped only some of the nails and now they have sharp edges. Won't be back!

We have had nothing but trouble with scheduling. We have had appointment reminders sent to us and show up ans them say we're not on the schedule and the latest is we booked a appointment had requested a time and got a appointment confirmation but was never giving a specific time and get called saying we missed it. When we brought that up they were extremely rude and short and did not care at all. We will never go back or recommend them to anybody

I was honestly very impressed with their service. I've got a mini golden doodle who had a bad cut at the previous groomer we had used. Haute Dogge brushed her coat to the softest it's ever felt. They gave us a call after brush and before they cut to go over a few things about some matting she had and wanted to make sure they payed attention to the notes I left for them.
She looks great, feels amazing and we're very impressed!
