Great Clips in Franklin, TN

This location lies about its wait times relative to other Great Clips location to try to get customers in the door. I checked in with a 27 minute wait advertised. An hour later and I am still waiting. Been at the store for 30 minutes. Seen several other customers come in and express surprise at the actual wait time compared to the wait time advertised online for this location.

I can get a great choppy Pixie cut from the talented ladies here at the Reid Commons location for $14. What amazes me is the compliments I get on my hair that I never got with my $60-85 cuts elsewhere. Do I get nervous when someone new is going to cut me? Of course! But what helps is when I come in wearing my hairstyle the way I like it and know just how to ask for the same but shorter cut version. I've not been disappointed yet and most often they know exactly what I'm looking for without my going in depth describing.

Professional staff;  sometimes busy but with their app you can check in online and also see how long he wait is.  Excellent service - always leave happy with the way my hair looks.  Good for changing styles, growing your hair out, etc...  Also sells products.  Open Sunday, which is a plus in a pinch.  Highly recommend!

This would have been a four-star review if it hadn't been for our last visit to Great Clips.

Almost every time I take my three year old for his haircut, we get someone really friendly that is nice to my kid. I can understand how someone would be wary of cutting a three year old's hair, but our last stylist showed open disdain that he got "stuck" with us. He had a bad attitude and seemed perturbed though the entire haircut even though my kid was relatively well-behaved (he sometimes forgets to keep his head in the right spot, or gets ticklish and moves his shoulders - BUT HE'S THREE!).

I am not one of those moms who thinks, "you must think my kid is as perfect and adorable as I do," but I would at least expect a pleasant attitude and some professionalism.

We will return to this Great Clips as it's right down the street from our house, but I will definitely not let El Grumpo near my kid's hair again. He put quite a damper on the fun day we were having - my son was excited to get his haircut.

I would have been ALMOST ok with this lack of good customer service if the haircut had at least been good but, unfortunately, it was not.

Work on your customer service, Mr. Scowl!

I come to this particular location because there is a women who works here named Priscilla who really knows how to give a $50 hair cut at a discount hair salon cost.

Although I have been disappointed more times than satisfied with this location. If I don't call ahead to make sure my girl is working that day, I might get stuck with someone who has not a clue how to cut hair. I am completely serious. I have had people who could barely even figure out how to make my side burns straight... I had to coach them the whole time on how to cut hair. Telling them everything they need to do next because they act like they are about to be done when I know full well my hair don't look good yet!  

I would recommend coming to this location to see Priscilla, but I would recommend using caution with the other hair "stylists" at this location. Proceed with caution!
