Hana Beauty Salon in Los Angeles, CA

My mom went to this place with her neighbor and she loved it! This is a no bells and whistles type place with just solid great service. She got a perm and she was very happy with it. It was $70 including a tip. She can walk from her apartment so that was a big plus since she doesn't drive. We are so happy to find this place! Thank you to the very talented and hard working owner lady.

My fiance recently went to this salon and wanted to leave a review: No frills hair salon-- while they don't have the bright lights and trendy environment with the loud music in the background like other ktown hair salons, the owner Stella is talented and so very kind. She is running all over the place with walk ins and scheduled appointments & is extremely busy... when I visited, she was the only person without any help. if you like to be the only customer- try to pick an off hour. I went a soon as it was opened on a Wednesday morning for a cut and digital perm and she already had 4 people waiting by 10:30am. Nobody seemed to mind, however, as she is constantly offering coffee and fruit to customers who are waiting. Her English isn't great but she has a diverse customer base which speaks to her talent.

Love this place! I know the owner because she's the mom of one of my students. It's a neighborhood vibe in there and she is just so friendly and informative.

Stella is awesome. She doesn't speak fluent English but her kindness, joy and smiles made up for it. There were a few people ahead of me and I saw all of their haircuts and perms come out beautifully. Even the men's haircuts were clean and stylish. So when it came to my turn, I wasn't surprised that it turned out so nicely. She kindly asked me what exactly I wanted and also added her touch to make it a nice perm and cut. I heard her highlights are done well too. I was much happier here than most other Korean salons in the area. I will def be back.
