I have been going to Salon On 6 for nearly ten years and I always get great compliments on my hair. Jackie is amazing and you should check out her services and products. Jackie specializes in color and the best cut for you, making you look five to ten years younger. I always get great compliments on my hair. For fun, ask Jackie about hair extensions. The only salon I have experienced where the extensions stay in, last for a long time and reasonable too. Due to Covid-19, it's ashame the salon is currently closed, But after the Covid-19 and you are looking for a new look in Summer 2020, contact Salon on 6 at (213) 623-5033 and ask for Jackie. If she is not available, she will put you in contact with one of her other stylists in the salon. :)

Horrible, unprofessional, drunk staff. They use the facility as a party spot. Downtown is already crazy enough without people from this salon making it even worse.The staff drinks alcohol inside the salon and then brings the party outside onto the sidewalk. I drive an hour to Downtown Los Angeles for an event and found a parking spot that happened to be in front of the salon. The second I parked, staff members and their friends were flicking there cigarette ashes all over my car. I kept looking at them like, what is wrong with you and I kept saying look what you are doing to my car. Finally, they were like, "oh, sorry". They kept standing there and continued the same behavior. After sitting in LA traffic for an hour, I couldn't even go to my event because after seeing what they were doing to my car and how they were acting when I was right in front of them, I wasn't comfortable getting out of my car and it is very hard to find parking. I also didn't want to have to walk through all of their disgusting cigarette smoke. They are truly a bunch of idiots. They don't even care how poorly they represent the salon. They kept going in and out of the salon with their alcohol and cigarettes. They even saw me taking pictures of them as well as taking photos of the salon and they still kept on acting like a bunch of frat boys. Truly a bunch of idiots with no common sense. They completely deserve to have some write a horrible review about them and I hope that they loose business. Truly some of the dumbest people I have ever seen. I have never been so disgusted by a business before. There are a lot of stupid people in LA and they definitely win first place for being the biggest morons.

John did an amazing work on my hair . He explained everything and gave me good tips on how to style it . We had a really good conversation and got to know me better . He treats everyone like family . I will be coming back for sure

Note that this review is specifically for Master Stylist Veronica De Haro. Veronica is the best stylist in DTLA! Very professional, hip, cool, and yet at the same time down-to-earth and super friendly. Veronica will take care of you - you will feel cared-for while getting amazing service. She will listen to your wants/needs, and she'll also give you great recommendations based on her vast knowledge and mad-skills. I get so many compliments on my hair since I started going to Veronica, first at Salon on Main and now at Salon on 6. Her prices are reasonable, especially compared to other overpriced DTLA salons. Bonus - she uses products that, and she herself, support the environment. Great all around stylist - couldn't recommend Veronica more!

I was able to schedule a reasonably priced hair blowout and basic makeup appointment for a last minute wedding guest invite. John did my hair and Javier did my makeup. Both of them were absolutely fantastic! They asked so many good questions like what kind of look I was trying to pull off, what kind of dress and accessories I'm wearing, etc to create a "story". They also helped me understand how to take care of my hair without breaking the bank. Thank you so much for helping me get ready! This is hands down the best salon experience I've ever had so far - will definitely come back when I'm in town.
