I've been going to Hair Trends for about 10 years. I have always been treated with nothing but professional service. I guess you could say I'm A consistent regular with my hair color and cut. About every 4-5 weeks.  I have never walked away not satisfied with the results.  The prices are very reasonable and the service is great!

After going to Michelle Warren for about a year, I started to notice that my hair had a lot of flyaways and breaking around my hairline. I brought this up to her and she dismissed it. I did my own research and discovered that using heat to process bleach over the course of several visits will cause this. I requested she stop using heat to process the bleach, but she did not lengthen the process time. So I did not get enough lift aka yellow hair. When she attempted to correct this a few weeks later with a lower volume, she got the lower volume on my regrowth (which she assured me beforehand would not happen) and while she got rid of the yellow, now I have orange roots!
To top it all off, she was completely unprofessional, defensive and unreceptive, denying her own responsibility for this debacle. She would rather deny and transfer blame than try to work with me to resolve the issue and not leave me with messed up hair. She gave me a partial refund, and made it clear she just wanted me gone. I left with wet hair and realized when I got home that she had not even rinsed all of the bleach out of my hair and my hair seems overprocessed to me judging by the texture of it.
Part of what doesn't help is that the stylists at Hair Trend don't seem to answer to anyone. It seems they're freelancers, no manager and the owner doesn't get involved. So when you're in this position where your hairdresser is in over her head, that's just what you're stuck with. There's no one to step in and mediate or take control of a situation spiraling out of control.
They say bleaching hair is an art form. Michelle Warren seems to think that all there is to it is just not getting it on the previously bleached hair. That's only part of it, as I have learned the hard way.
