Hair Tech in Omaha, NE

I called for a short notice haircut for my little boy. I was thankful when the gentleman (Don? Donny?) said he was about to head out since things were slow but said he would stay.

That should have been a red flag. I should have stopped at the barber shop I passed in Rockbrook on my way to Hairtech. I didn't.

I asked that all of the length be kept on top, for the back and sides to essentially be shaved.

He cut the better part of two inches off the top, leaving very little to style, and didn't blend the sides. It looked like he wasn't very sure how to cut hair. I'm now taking my son to another barber shop to have it fixed.

Pictures are of a very wiggly little boy who was perfectly still in the chair when he was getting this butcher job...

I didn't say anything about it in the shop because at that point, the damage was done. But this is NOT what I asked for.

Donnie did an absolutely beautiful job with my blonde highlights! Wonderful technique and shade! Very accommodating and professional! Would definitely recommend!

I had been to see Bethany before on a Groupon, and liked the cut she gave me, so since I was heading out of town I decided to make an appt after work. I had only been to the salon once, so I barely recalled what the stylist looked like. No one greeted me when I came in. No one said I'll be right with you. Nothing....  so after waiting about 10 mins I approached who I thought was Bethany, and she confirmed that yes we had an appointment,  and she'll be with me in a minute. Her tone was neither friendly or welcoming, and no apology was given for running late. I decided to spend my $ 40 elsewhere.  I can get unprofessional service at a chain place for a whole lot less money.

I was in need of a hair update and decided to try Hair Tech as it is close to my office.  The atmosphere was very comfortable and I was greeted as soon as I walked in.  I was lucky enough to have my color done by Donnie and my cut and style done by Kelli.  They did a excellent job and I left loving my new color/style!

After a sport clip hack screwed my hair up, I jumped out of the chair and left mid cut, Don at hair tech fixed it. Little shorter than I like, no fault of Don, but looks good.
