Hair Station in Auburn, ME

Came in today as a walk in for a brow wax . Laura Reid was the cosmetologist who did my service . She did an amazing job ! They looked perfect , exactly what I was hoping for. She was very friendly . Great customer service ! I normally do my own eyebrows but I have a special occasion this weekend and needed them to be on fleek ! Do they say that anymore ?! lol thank you Laura !

Ok, lemme preface this with I've been terrified of salons for decades. One person screwed up my hair so bad I've been cutting/coloring my own hair for years.

This year, I took a chance. Read reviews. Met with Amy for a cut couple of weeks ago. She looked at a pic once and mirrored it. UH-MAZING.

Based on those results I scheduled a color.

STUNNAH! She was patient. Consulted with co-workers. Tweaked and end result is EXACTLY what I wanted. My fears are gone.

I'm so so happy. This atmosphere is dope! The ladies are amazing and friendly. I feel, happy, pretty and comfortable.

Amy squeezed me in last minute on my wedding day and did a wonderful job!! I had an elopement planned and my original stylist (at another salon) cancelled on me less than 24 hours before due to COVID. The salon was unable to accommodate me with another stylist. I frantically called around and the service station answered right away, was extremely sympathetic, and got me an appointment the exact time I needed!! Amy was right down to business and did a great job. Thanks all again for saving the day!

If you want an even blonding job, STAY AWAY. If you have a pixie cut or anything other than traditional long, women's hairstyles, STAY FAR FAR AWAY. This place butchered my hair, and it wasn't that complicated a style. I needed my pixie cut trimmed, reshaped, and blonded, and I've been in tears ever since I let these amateurs near my hair. The first woman didn't listen to a word I said, cut off all of my bangs, left me with a massive brass ring because she was extremely lazy and uncommunicative about the blonding process, and didn't even shape the hairstyle like a pixie. She gave me a men's supercut while talking nonstop. Maybe she should have focused on her job. I went back in and the manager tried to fix the mess of a haircut for free, which I appreciated, but now that I'm looking at it at home, the back isn't even the same length or the same color on either side. The color in the back is still abysmal. All I can do now is wait for it to grow out and find a stylist that understands short hair. I wish I could leave 0 stars and get my money back because these hacks shouldn't be allowed anywhere near short hair or bleach. Honestly, if it wasn't a small town, I sincerely doubt they'd be in business. Ladies, if don't know how to cut short hair, then don't book customers with short hair. If you're afraid to put bleach on short hair, don't say you will and then do a patchy job TWICE. There's no product on my neckline, which is also a mess, by the way. Someone needs to confiscate your clippers, because you are NOT QUALIFIED to use them. I would have gotten a better pixie cut from a barber shop.

This little hair salon is perfect! I was nervous having moved from another state and having to find a new hairdresser after 7 years of having the same one. Amy was great and listened to everything I wanted. The atmosphere was awesome. Prices are VERY reasonable.
