Modern Nails Salon & Day Spa in Gainesville, FL

The price didn't bother me as much as the fact my nails didn't even last a week I'm used to my nails lasting about 3-4 weeks the price is different every time I go in and the quality gets worse every time I just had them done a week ago now having to pay someone else to do them right

Absolutely terrible manicure. Dead skin not cut off, sloppy painting, poor Customer service.

A week ago I got my nails done here with powder, I was skeptical at first but somehow the lady doing my nails convinced me. What she didn't tell me was it was going to take AN HOUR more of the usual time to do this & I was in a rush. Also I wanted my nails to be white (matching my toes) & they are an off white, almost pink. I also asked for a waterfall design with glitter to be more festive & she took a glitter nail polish & just clumped it all over my nails. They look disgusting & I paid 50$ to absolutely hate my nails. I've actually had NEGATIVE comments about them. I went to the salon today to complain & ask for them to be re done or a refund & the manager could give a crap less, wasn't considerate AT ALL & said there was nothing he could do. I won't ever be coming back here & I wouldn't recommend anyone else to go here either. Highly disappointed!

If I could give them no stars I would. I normally don't bash a place, but I just have this time. I just came in over the weekend to get my lashes and brows done by Julia and I tell you when she was done, looked like a 5 year old have colored on my brows and looked my lashed had only three lashes glued on each. I will never go there again and she had the nerve to say it will be 70 dollars. I paid and as I left I knew I would never come back. To add insult to injury, the lashes next day was lifting and I had to go pay to get my brows done over. This is a joke, I been stop getting my nails done there, there is no talent there anymore.

Do not come to this place. I can even do a better job than this lady, named Cookie(sp?) She was nice at the beginning but when I pointed out to her what she missed, she kept interrupting me and failed to listen attentively to my concerns. She had to redo a toenail bec she failed to listen and she assumed she knew what I was telling her what the problem was. Since I worked at my garden for several days, my toenails and fingernails had some dirt that needed to be removed. She did not even used a nail brush or tried to even used the tool to scrape the dirt within my nails. I was so upset by how disrespectful this lady towards me when I verbalized my complaints in a calm and respectful tone. Pls do not come to this place. Not a good place to have your nails done. Awful staff and terrible service. It was a highway robbery. I paid $66 for a lousy job that I can do better.
