Hair Cuttery in Hagerstown, MD

The haircut was horrible. Came in with my daughter who has a very thick head of hair. She wanted shorter hair. I showed a photograph showing the length and Jen went to town. It was a good 6" my daughter got cut off. When it was done, I think I was in shock at how horrible she looked. Meanwhile, my 5 year old was just excited to have shorter hair. I had to pretend like she looked beautiful to her face, all the while panicking inside because of how horrible she looked. It was obviously uneven, mushrooming out, (specically what I warned Jen I was scared of) had no actual professional hairstyle look to it at all. I got out in the parking lot and immediately had to call other salons to find one that could fix the monstrosity. Walked into Sagittarius and they saw the horror show left of my daughters hair and luckily was able to correct it. I always question going to Hair cuttery, since it's like the bottom of the barrel. But figured my daughter just needed a simple kids cut, how much could they fuck it up? Welllllll they did.

It looks like she did not even cut it. It is the same length that it was prior to the haircut and the length of layers looks nothing like the picture she was provided. $50 for a shampoo i suppose because the only difference from going in and coming out was wet hair.

Absolutely terrible. Purposely gave me a terrible haircut. So bad to the point it can't even be fixed without gluing my hair back on. Never have been so angry and upset in my life. I don't even want to leave my house

I know most corporate hair cut shops are a quick in, cookie cutter assembly line cuts. Not if you sit in Kayleigh's chair. This lil Edward Scissor Hands can work around a cow-lick and listens to everything you say and delivers a great styling cut.

I came to this salon after seeing a promotional offer of 50% off of a color service. I called and made the appointment and let them know if the coupon and they said it was fine to use it no worries. However, after arriving and meeting the person that they scheduled me to have do my hair, she said that the discount doesn't apply to her because she is a "master stylist." I showed her a picture of what I was looking to get which was medium brown hair which I already had with a purple balayage. She seemed to not really know what she was doing when lifting my hair. Some of the things she also said came across as rude and out of place. After five hours in the salon, I ended up walking out with dark brown hair that was nearly black and like two barely visible streaks of purple. The hair stylist said "there was literally no reason why it shouldn't have taken the purple dye." I went back in the next day to ask for a refund, and a week later corporate sent me a prepaid debit card instead of returning the money to my bank account. Spend more money and get your hair done at a professional salon.
