I've used this salon (always Rhonda Pruitt) for a couple years,mainly because it was somewhat local & the price was reasonable, but I've NEVER left there really LOVING my hair....I only want highlights to cover a few grays, but they're never like I want them to be, and each time I've gone back, I've REITERATED what I want. TWICE NOW, she's made the top WAY too dark-who wants their "highlights" darker than the rest of their hair?? Now I'm thinking she's doing that so I'd have to come back and pay more! Also, one time she seriously dropped the bowl of color ON THE FLOOR and scraped it back into the bowl and used it on my hair!! In hindsight, I shouldn't have let her, but she SAID that was all of that color she had...anyway, even my friends have agreed that she colored the top way too dark-not "highlights"....but she wants to charge me AGAIN to fix it when she didn't do what I asked for in the first place-I've always been very clear about what I want!! So now, I'd rather pay more and actually LOVE my hair after leaving the salon, than to hate it and feel totally ripped off by this woman who obviously doesn't know what she's doing-or maybe she does? Oh, and also, might I add, that she has actually asked me to wash my hair BEFORE coming, because that "makes the color hold better"-whoooo wants to wash their hair BEFORE going to a salon??? And I also wanted to add that I've always tipped her well.....it's become obvious to me that she is just trying to make as much money as she can off a client, by not doing as they ask so they'll have to come back, and she'll never make another dime off me
