Hair Classics in Flat Rock, MI

Very disappointed in hair Classics's. I've been going to this place for I think over a year and always happy with Lisa The girl that was doing my hair. I brought my daughter into another stylist and it looked exactly the same when she was done, She wanted a color and then she said I could bring her back the next day for a do over. I was charged 100 and it still looked exactly the same. We also had to wait when we had an apt time because she had booked other clients in between. I talked to the owner who told me she would take care of it and never called me back so after a month I called her and she said she talked to the hairstylist and that there is nothing basically she can do. I was very disappointed in her reply. Nothing about coming in to see what we can do, or at least half of the money returned.. very un happy with this salon.

I'm not happy. I came here a year ago with hair down to the middle of my back and requested a trim. One of the stylists massacred my hair. I called & complained & went back in to have someone try and fix it. I ended up with a short Bob, I cried for days. I continued to go in every 3-4 month to get it all even again and finally it was shoulder length and looking decent. I went back in thinking I would have it styled the way I use to wear it and get back to normal finally after a year of waiting. I went back yesterday only to have them screw up again! I'm livid. The lady asked, do you want layers? I said, NO. So please tell me why my head is full of layers and cut short again! I can't believe they did it again. My hair is thin and fine when you layer it, it makes it thinner. I said NO LAYERS. Now I'm walking around with bald spots in the back of my head because they Fxxxxing layered after I told them not too. The layers are short it will take a couple years for this to grow out now. I am devasted.... can anyone recommend a place to buy a wig?

Needed a haircut, went to hair classics , I was glad I found this place , great location excellent hair stylist , very friendly atmosphere, Hairstylist defiantly knew what she was doing, made me feel as if I had been a regular customer, which I was not, I believe I am now .

The salon itself has a more laid-back feel, but you could tell that the stylists really take pride in their work. Everyone there was super friendly, but Taylor went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my new hair color. She took the extra time to style my hair to complete my look and did great job! The price I ended up paying was about half of what the work she put into my hairstyle was worth. Watching the other stylists in the salon work while I was getting my hair done, you could tell they all enjoy what they do. I would have been happy to have Lisa, Sarah, or Karen cut my hair as well! Only odd thing to note is that they do not accept credit cards, only cash or check. They do have an ATM in store, but they may be missing out on customers by restricting their store to cash only.
