Just recently found Robin and am so happy! I have had so many compliments on my hair since she worked her magic! She really stepped out of the traditional box to help me fix some of my hair issues. She is professional, so talented and willing to listen as well as teach and make suggestions that really work. Can't wait for my second appointment with her this week.

I found Robin after a couple bad experiences at salons in my area. I simply went on the internet and typed in "the best hair stylist in Maine" in sheer desperation to find someone who may be able to help me get my hair back to a healthier state. Robin came up as one of the top three stylists and all of her reviews spoke for themselves, and many had photographs to show her work. I contacted Robin to set up an appointment and she asked me to send her a photo of my damaged hair. I took a photo trying to show my hair at its worst, so she could best advise me. Robin's response was very honest about the damaged condition of my hair and she took the time out of her day to give me various recommendations to start getting my hair on a healthier path. I set an appointment with her for a haircut and a treatment, after her advice to wait on coloring services due to my hair being damaged. I really appreciated this advice and is what I expect when I consult a professional! Sadly the two previous salons I had visited, simply processed my hair to get a result that I wanted, even though I am sure that they were aware that my hair would not hold up or turn out the way I wanted it to. Robin's salon is absolutely wonderful and in a great location. I went into my appointment fully prepared to cut three inches off of my hair to get rid of the damage....and I left with a stylish haircut that removed the damage but hardly removed any length at all. The treatment also left my hair feeling like silk. I am looking forward to seeing Robin again in June and HIGHLY recommend her.

First visit to Robin was fall 2016 to get my hair fixed after a less than fortunate experience with another stylist in Scarborough. She swiftly fixed my "peanut butter" hair into a lovely deep brown and that solidified my choice to never go to any other stylist.

Since our first meeting I have had three or four appointments of Balayage color with Robin. She is a true artist who knows a lot about what exactly to do as well as experiment successfully when the situation arises. She's also always pleasant to talk to and has great tips for maintenance.

On my most recent visit I arrived pregnant and my hormones messed a bit with the semi permanent dye. But Robin persevered with a complimentary second permanent process and was able to achieve the most beautiful color.

My husband also loves the haircuts he gets from Robin.
