Johnny is absolutely the best master hair stylist I've found. His precision cuts are superb with his unique style of cutting and shaping while hair is wet and dry. I'm a hair snob and extremely particular about getting the best haircut. I have a pixie, and it was hard to find a stylist who knows how to cut one the correct way without looking frumpy. Not so with Johnny, it's consistently perfect with a cutting edge look every time. Additionally, hIs salon is an oasis of relaxation. while you get his full attention. If you can book an appointment with him, don't hesitate, he's simply that good and I always leave feeling and looking great.

When I saw my friend's hair cut, I said " whomever cut your hair is without a doubt, the best I have ever seen." I was blessed to be able to become a client. No one takes such care and time in making a cut as perfect as Johnny. He's the best there is and if somehow you can make it through his long wait list, you will tell yourself it was worth it!

I relocated from Northern Virginia 5 years ago and it took me 4 stylists and 4 years to FINALLY find Johnny G! Within 10 minutes of me sitting down to have the initial consultation, Johnny knew exactly what I wanted to achieve and what my hair needed. It had been 4 years of experiencing the wrong cuts/colors with the other stylists, and I was beginning to lose hope. He was able to determine the proper color/tone that was right for me! I'm feeling amazing again, most importantly, like myself but even better! I especially love that as a customer of Johnny's, you get his full attention, a quiet atmosphere that's beautifully decorated, AND you have the entire salon to yourself! I had my first appointment with Johhny today, and I'll never go anywhere else. EVER. If you only read this part, know that he's really incredible. If you can snag an appointment, book it IMMEDIATELY and thank me later. If you want to know why I say that, details below. My hair was long and unruly, but not anymore. My color and highlights had grown out, and you could see all of my grays. Johnny covered my gray hair, AND with sort of black magic, blended it in PERFECTLY while simultaneously making my old highlights look like this intentional, dope AF ombre. That's cool enough by itself, but the cut looks INCREDIBLE! He cuts using the latest techniques, so my hair has this amazing, uber natural movement that fits MY face. You can see the focus on his face. It's like he's looking at all of your hair and the individual strands at the same time. Johnny's studio has such a chill vibe, and you're his only client, so there's no double booking. You're his only focus for the whole appointment. Lastly, he educates you on different products and how to make your hair look awesome when you're at home. I'll close by saying that he's a gem, and the cost for this amazing advice is that I always get first dibs on appointment slots. ;)

Johnny G did a fabulous job layering my curly hair. It looks and feels so much healthier and is a breeze to style now. He also took his time explaining all of the products he was using while styling. I would recommend him to everyone!
