Went to this lady twice. The second time I went a week later 3 of my Senegalese had come out, I called she answered and told me to come the next day. I get there and she wouldn't answer me and never called back. I wouldn't recommend her but to each its own, this was my experience.
Great atmosphere. Knowledgeable braider. Always check to make sure that you are comfortable. She does not braid too tight. Following covid protocol. I like the hair that she provides. If you would like to bring your own products it is not a problem.
I found this hairbraiding salon through yelp and was in the Maryland area, so I figured I would try it out. I was really happy that I went with this salon. I got some medium sized knotless braids and they took exactly 5 hours. It was a little confusing finding the shop at first since I'm not familiar with the area, but Sophie walked me through how to find the location on the phone and once I finally arrived a few minutes later, we were able to get started on the braiding quickly. I expressed that I don't like my braids too tight and for her to stay away from my edges and she did everything I asked. I was especially pleased with the service and reasonable prices given how expensive it can be to get braids in the DC area. I will definitely pay them another visit for other styles!
Miss. Sophie is so personable and professional! I wanted some long box braids (small and waist length) for my birthday and she impressed me with how quickly and neatly she was able to get them done. Worth every dollar. I will most definitely be back!
