Tracy is the RUDEST!!! Beware of a nail tech who only wants to work with clients based on if their purse and shoes are designer. She's doesn't even wear designer herself. But she has the audacity to discriminate on paying customers. Girl bye! She the LAZIEST tech in there.

I recently moved to the dmv area, my sister has been a regular customer for four years, and I can see why. I've gotten service done here about five times now, and each time i'm more and more satisfied with how my mani and pedis come out. I've had two techs do my nails, one unfortunately i didn't get her name, but Kim recently did my nails, kim was very sweet, friendly, quick and efficient. I will definitely be getting pampered here from here on out !

The previous two times I went to this nail salon, it was amazing--good, quick service; friendly conversation; welcoming atmosphere; the whole nine yards. I do not know what has changed since then, but it has *changed*. Where to start... As soon as I walked through the door, I could tell something was different. There was no one to greet me at the counter. One technician was screaming at a customer over the phone for making her late for a party. And another was arguing with a customer in-person for wanting to get her nails soaked off instead of filed. Eventually, I was led to a pedicure chair where I met my technician (if you can call her that) Kim. To summarize the service: she was on her phone the entire time, waited fifteen minutes to fill the foot bath with hot water, hit my legs instead of talking to me when she needed me to move, scoffed and rolled her eyes at me whenever I asked a question, and did not sanitize the tools between customers. To summarize the *pedicure*: my feet were scrubbed practically dry with little exfoliating product; the hot towel was luke-warm and had holes in it; cuticle oil was applied to my feet instead of my actual cuticles; the buffer block was out for about three seconds; and the massage consisted of two quick passes of lotion on the front of my legs. I can say that the shape and color application on my toes were good, though. The manicure was a similar experience. Kim talking on the phone, no eye contact, no conversation. No attention being paid to my cuticles or general nail health. Having to redo a few nails and switch from dip to gel because the color Kim swore would match my toes was way too light. And a whole lot of huffing, puffing, and eye-rolling on Kim's part. Another interesting thing to note here is that there were no set prices from what I saw. What you are charged depends on the time of day and how your technician is feeling. Originally, for an acrylic set with a coffin-shaped cut and simple yet labor-intensive print, I was told it would be $85 (much higher than the other times I have gone and gotten more ornate patterns). After deciding on a shorter length and simpler design, this price went down to $80 (again, still outrageously more than I paid previously). Finally, after altering my design so much that the only thing I was really getting was the nails glued on and painted, Kim told me "$65." A few minutes later, after realizing it would be absurd to charge me more $60 for what I was getting, she spurted out: "$55 for the nails." This about wrapped up my salon experience and solidified my status as a past--as in never again--customer. Entitlement seems to be a common theme at this facility. These people do not care about your well-being. They want to get you in and out as fast as possible. And then they want to have an attitude when their reckless service causes them to make more mistakes and have to work longer. If you are reading this, save your time, breath, money, and nails: do not go to Yoyo Nail & Spa.

This nail spa was great the first time I went, so decided to go a couple more time but then this happened the work cut my cuticle from my toes to much cause me to bleed, an there tools are not well clean an sanitized because my toes got affected.
