I was able to have my hair cut outside because I have a compromised immune system. They created a space out back for two stylists to work when requested. I loved the cut and I love the flexibility of this salon!

Hair base is always perfection. Teresa is the wonderfully diverse and talented hairdresser I use. She can do anything and everything. I come from downtown to see her and it's always worth the trip every time. The whole group at hair base is a well oiled machine during covid. They have spaced clients out, reduced booking and kept all areas clean and sanitized. They take covid seriously to protect their clients and themselves. They have flexible work hours and are open 7 days a week to accommodate all clients while in reduced capacity mode. I feel very safe at hair base and I'm a high risk client. Been going here for about 15 years, love the owners (family run), the staff is great and the services are top notch. You may even be there when the Cuban Coffee gets passed out seriously though, best cut, color, facials, nails and more. I appreciate that the stylists stay current and are continually trained and have new products. Give it a try!

Crazy Good results from the Lash Lift procedure that Zeena gave me last week (genius at a blow dry as well). This is really dramatic. I never wear makeup but can clearly tell a massive difference with my lashes. I got both the lift and the tint to make the most difference and it absolutely did. I've had it for a week now and it still looks great. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned. I don't like anything in or around my eyes because of allergic reactions. I had no discomfort from the procedure. I have been going to Hairbase for the past 10 years. I used to live downtown Chicago and have found that the quality of both cuts and color is better than he expensive salons in the Loop, River North, and Wicker Park etc. Grace is an absolute artist with color and cuts and her and Teresa team up to knock out a BKT treatment in no time. Its done correctly and with real care. The whole staff is the best.
