H & K Hair Salon in Lancaster, CA

Called on 5/14/22 about getting my kid's hair bleached and dyed lavender. I was given a price range ($90-$250) and told to come by for an actual quote. We stopped by on 5/21/22 to get an actual quote and make an appointment. The stylist who saw us said that they didn't do lavender there. I asked if they could just bleach it. They asked to see the length of my kid's hair and then said they don't really do that at their salon. They said we should try another nearby salon. Thanks for wasting our time.

Had a great experience! Helen is amazing! I had color and cut and it turned out better than I imagined. She will be my permanent hairdresser for as long as we live here. Thank you Helen love the way my hair looks

In response to Allyson's review. I am defending my work as I've been a hairdresser for 29 years. The lack of communication was due to her sister not informing me she had previously applied black box hair color. Had I known I would have advised her that it would not lift as light as her desired picture. As far as "fixing" we could've lightened again and risked drying her hair out or breaking off or applied a darker color. The process was not rushed. She was in the salon for 2 1/2 hours and her hair was not orange. Tried calling to refund her money and got no response.

If you are dark brown I don't recommend coming here. The stylist and the client didn't have any good communication, the picture of the outcome my sister wanted was not this. Unfortunately we called to see if there is any thing the stylist could do to fix her orange hair and she said just to dye it back after paying 150+40 tip idk. Seems like the salon didn't want girls in their chairs for too long and it was a rushed process, leaving my sister like this. I'll say it I would never let anyone leave my salon looking this way. What even is this

Great cut by Heather but wasn't happy with the color.
