I highly recommend GSV! I've been coming here for about 10 years. The staff, manager and owner are absolutely wonderful, not to mention very skilled at their craft! When I leave GSV, I feel like a million! Don't hesitate, book today!
I was really excited to have my hair cut at this salon after looking over their website, I chose a "master" stylist and paid $51.50 for a haircut and style! Staff was very friendly, salon is in a great location but the stylist needs to go back to school! I am 57 years old and this is the worse haircut I have ever had! One side was 1.5" longer than the other side, my entire family commented on it! I contacted salon manager and told them I would like to have my hair fixed but I did not want the same stylist. I did not want a confrontation or to hurt anyone's feelings so I asked if I could come in to have my hair re-cut on the stylists day off, the management agreed to do this! When I arrived for the hair cut I was completely uncomfortable. The stylist was there, she looked like she had been sucking on lemons and was very upset! At first they told me the stylist that originally did my hair would be fixing it but I refused! Salon owner came over and ran her hands through my hair and said it was a great cut and she had full confidence in her stylist! She did say she could "tweak" the longer side or I could tuck it behind my ear until the short side grew out! This was the most uncomfortable situation I've have ever been in and I couldn't wait to get out of there! The only thing you will get at this salon is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! So unless you are looking for real estate, save your money and go somewhere else!
I drive an hour and a half to see Shana. I have been to many Aveda salons and she truly is THE BEST! Her highlights/lowlights are absolutely beautiful and she give the BEST cuts! She always listens and takes her time - she's meticulous I'm always so happy! I cannot say enough good things.
