This place is a gem. Family ran business with excellent service, clean and efficient. The owner gave me a consultation on how to go from acrylic to gel and nurture my real nails back. I really appreciated his insight and recommendation. I had an appointment but a few walk ins came in too and they were seen or booked quickly. Often times salons have you wait but this salon is efficient. My new gel dipped nails were beautiful and natural looking. I'm going back for a pedicure! Give this place a try and then stroll to one of the restaurants to have lunch. Closed Monday and half day Sunday.

Made an appointment with my sisters to get Dip powder with tips added. Went In with a specific picture of the nails I wanted (The shape and color). I showed my nail tech this picture 4 times. As the women started doing my nails I noticed she was using a super pink color to which I told her it was way too pink, I was looking for more of a white color. She went and grabbed another color that I again told her was way too pink, she then came back with another color that still looked a little too pink. Told her again I just wanted the white cream color not pink. She continued and kept doing a French tip ombré sort of thing. At this point I thought she was just layering it and it might turn out okay. One of my nails she ended up doing super different then the rest she said it was too white, I then told her I didn't mind just do the same thing to the other nail on the other hand. My nails all ended up coming out uneven and not the same color. Definitely not the color I wanted. I ended up paying $71. Dip is $50 and it's an up charge for tips which I was fine with but I wasn't happy about paying $13 extra dollars for ombré nails that I did not ask for, when I wanted a solid color. The picture I showed was a solid color called "milky white." I have listed the picture I showed Vs the nails I got. My sister also asked to get Dip + Tips and her nail tech told her that it would be better to get acrylic for the shape she is wanted and ended up just doing acrylic on here even though she wanted and had asked for dip powder & she doesn't even like acrylic. For her job she had found it better to get dip because it lasts longer and she is not upset that she had acrylics on. My other sister got dip on her natural nails, her tech didn't even ask how long she wanted them and ended up filing her nails super short, when my sister wanted them long. My sister asked for a round shape and they all ended up a different shape. Her nail tech did one hand thicker, dipped it 3 times and only dipped her other hand twice making them come out uneven & not the same thickness. Overall we all had a bad experience and we will not be retuning.

I dropped off my teenage daughter for a full set which I knew was around $35 and I figured it would cost a little more because of what she wanted but not $76. They charged $36 for the set, $15 to make them coffin shaped, $20 for gel color and $5 to clean the cuticles. When finished, the nails were ok. This place was very close and we thought we would try it. Never again. We will be going back to our nail place.

I normally have had a great experience at 78 Nails however this time was not that. The place is a great environment- clean and nice. There was no wait which was super nice to walk in and start working on my nails! Well the service I wanted was my nails dipped ((I previously had my nails done there 3 weeks ago- they were great.)) so the woman started on my nails and was very slow (which is fine if it's being done correctly) so 1.5 hour after sitting there I looked at my nails and half my nails weren't even polished or it was over polished and on my skin. My nails were not filed evenly and my finger nail shapes didn't match. So another woman came over and to correct the issue (she tried her best) but at that point I'm 2 hours in and didn't really plan on being there for two hours. So she ended up finishing the job the best she could - they gave me $5 dollar discount for the inconvenience I still spent $50 and walked out completely unhappy and will NEVER go back. My time and money is valuable. So my recommendations to make this nail salon amazing is hire some more experienced nail technicians and ones that are more "hip" to the style of nails people want and alittle quicker at getting the job done because we all have busy lives and again I don't so much mind the 2 hours if I walked out happy and my nails look amazing but unfortunately I did not. ((I also had blood on one of my nails because the first nail technician cut me pretty bad- my hands and nails are dry - they didn't even take care of my cuticles I'm just really sad about this.))
