Great Clips in Wenatchee, WA

I'm new to the area and needed a haircut. My usual haircut chain doesn't have a location here in Wenatchee so I decided to go here instead. I have a Mullet and just needed it trimmed. The hairstylist (don't remember her name, but she was of Asian decent) asked what I wanted and I told her that I'm growing a mullet and that I just wanted to have my bangs And around my ears SCISSOR trimmed. She said Ok and mentioned something about it looking like I hadn't had a haircut in awhile. All throughout the haircut I had to remind her of what I wanted. She'd repeat what I said but would suggest "changes" in not so clear English while chewing gum. One of her suggestions was to do a #4 on the sides. I agreed thinking she was going to blend the sides into the mullet in the back. As the haircut went on, I noticed that she was spending an awfully long amount of time working on the back of my head! I (stupidly) assumed that she knew what she was doing and didn't say anything. When she finished up and gave me the mirror to look at the back of my head, I noticed that She ended up cutting the entirety of my Mullet off and leaving a fingers length of hair in its place!! I'm not one to cause a scene so I just got up, paid and left. I was extremely disappointed as I have been growing this out for about 8 months now. As a licensed hairdresser, I thought she would've learned about mullets in beauty school. I'm also curious what was so confusing to her about my simple instructions to give me a scissor trim around my ears and bangs. This experience has put a bad taste in my mouth and I'll definitely NEVER be returning to this location ever again!!

Do I like the haircut? NO!! Does my 11 year old daughter? Yes!! And since it's her hair, I'm learning to let go! Hahahahha! Honestly, my daughter wanted her hair short so bad she cut it herself, so it needed a fix, the lady who did it did a great job even though I would have never chose the haircut, we were both listening to the client and from her perspective, I respect that! My girl feels good about it and that's all that matters! Kids these days.... hahahahhaha

I had the BEST and WORSE haircut in my life here. The best was near the first of this year...the worse was yesterday. As it happened three women, myself and room mate all of the same era in age. We all walked out with a shoulder length 'bob'. I asked for a long shag, from the seventies, that was not understood! So I tried to go layered look. She seemed to understand. The side of my hair was not touched, just the length and cleaning up of ends was all that was done. And a couple clips on the bangs. In about 15 minutes I was done and gone. The work she had done was not of the quality I wanted so was not gonna ask for a re-do. My room mate got done about the same time and we all walked out looking like bobbsie twins. My first wash and dry revealed an even worse cut than I originally came in with. Mine had dirty blonde long hair in a pony tail. Although all did the same style? Never again. I was hoping my previous stylist would still be working. Sigh

I just had an awful experience at Great Clips in Wenatchee Wa!!! Totally rude Jennifer Morris when I walked in at 3:48 yesterday the 8th and I asked if there was still time to cut my husband's hair, I told her we had already checked in online. I was talking to the other girl asking her when Jennifer spoke over and said we're closed. I reminded her the door said they close at 4 and it wasn't 4 yet. She says "well we're closed". I asked for her Manager and was told she wasn't in, asked her name and was told Tracy. Asked her last name and she was snarky with her response "there is no other Tracy here". Then I asked what her name was and was ignored, I spoke louder and was told *I'm Jennifer Morris and I've been here 6 1/2 years*. Jennifer was extremely rude in her tone and snippy! She could have said something like we take our last cut at 3:45 because they close at 4 but she didn't. I told her she didn't need to be so rude, she has a nasty tone and said sorry to which I replied no you're not. If this is her attempt at good customer service then she needs to work on it. I get that they wanted to go home and it was 13 minutes before closing but we had already checked in online and drove there, all she had to do was say "we take our last haircut at 3:45" and that would have made all the difference!

I've always gone to Great Clips to get my haircut. When I found myself needing a haircut in Wenatchee, I started looking for a Great Clips. The price is unbeatable for me and I never want anything super complicated done to my hair. Here are a few tips for coming to this location. There seems to always be a coupon lying around somewhere for this location. They're great with honoring coupons. Plus, they usually include a few dollars off your next visit on your receipt. That's a nice plus. Also, please check-in online when you come. It'll hopefully decrease your wait time a little. For some reason, the location can get incredibly busy. I've felt so bad for other customers when they decide that the wait is too long. I've been there and done that. So, save yourself some hassle and check-in online. I've been to this location twice now because I'm trying to get rid of a terrible perm I received in China. The two hairdressers were very nice and they were pretty funny. Just very personable people. They'll work with you to give you the style and cut you want. Just communicate with them what you would like done. As always, be polite! Politeness can get you very far in the world, especially with service industries. I've been getting short bobs and they've been absolutely fine.
