My first visit to this location. The salon was clean and there was no wait even though I checked in online. I received a good cut. The price is right for those on a budget. Located next to Kroger in Vandalia with plenty of parking.
Though their website says you can receive services all the way until closing, I can assure you that the cows working in this place are too lazy to do it. It was made very clear to me that I was there before closing but it was too close to closing for them to do their job. (15 minutes until closing for a 5 min haircut) save yourself the effort of driving to this dump and go to a different location
Never written a negative review for anything but. Never going back! I've been growing my hair for two years now. I'm a guy and I've never had long hair. It takes forever to grow and it was finally getting longer. I told her not to touch the top, just trim the sides and back. She trimmed it quickly, didn't talk, obviously didn't want to be there. She said she was gonna just fade it on the sides, but cut literally all of the hair it took me forever to grow. I could pull it down past my nose before I walked in. Now I can't even pull it to my eyebrows! I've had bad haircuts before and am usually pretty understanding and don't mind. I always had the mindset of, "Its hair, it'll grow back." It took me two years though! At 34 I never thought I would say this but, I almost cried when I got to the car!
This place BUTCHERED my hair. They are not trans friendly and the stylists would not listen to how I wanted my hair. I was left with some shaved monstrosity on the back of my head that I immediately went to another salon to fix.
This Great Clips location is very good never got a bad haircut from here. They are fast, convenient, and very friendly. There pricing is also great and inexpensive.
