I had my hair cut at Cross Keys Place in Sewell, NJ October 4, 2023 Worst haircut of my life!!!! One side is so short its just fuzz! I tried to stop her but she kept trimming away. I had to ask her to try to match the left side so it wouldn't look as bad. Its just horrible and I am ashamed. I will never go back to Great Clips ever again!! Who hires these people and where do they train? HORRIBLE HAIRCUT!!!!!

Asian woman destroyed my hair went in for bangs and side trim.. Told her trim to below eyebrows Not short... My hair is uneven above my eyebrows and I am livid.. Never again looks horrible!! LIVID

Christina is the BEST! That woman lives to serve customers & make Great Clips the best salon in township. Chrissy is her tag team partner & between the 2 of them, my hair & my kids hair gets cut perfectly. I am beyond satisfied with how great these 2 professionals are! I never really leave reviews unless I have a bad experience but I had several amazing experiences with both of them that I had to leave a positive review. Check them out!

My family & I have been going to Great Clips for years; this location since they opened. For my son, age 12 now, we only see Betty, and she is wonderful! When I called 12/22/20 to schedule an appt., I was told Betty has retired. She is missed. I asked the girl on the phone if I could bring in a Christmas card, and gift for Betty, and could someone there let her know a customer has dropped something off for her. The girl said she would ask her manager if this is Ok. I decided to have my son's hair cut by someone else there since I was going there anyhow to drop off Betty's gift & card. The stylist who approached us did not greet us, or introduce herself, & just told my son to go with her. I asked her if she would be cutting his hair, and when she said yes, I next asked who she was. I told her I wanted a shorter hair cut for my son, to get the hair out of his eyes, trim it up. I explained how his natural part is, how he likes to put gel in the bang, and flip it up. She told me I need to give her more information than this. I thought I just did. We decided she would start cutting his hair, and we would discuss what's next, as she cut. She took him to the very back of the salon, last chair. I stood upfront, maybe 6 feet away from the other four girls (stylists) also there, upfront. I stood there until I heard the clippers, and realized the stylist just shaved the back of my son's head (summer cut). It's winter. I walked back, and since there was no one else back there, except me, my son, and the stylist, I stood almost 12 feet away. I reminded her I asked for a shorter haircut, not a buzz cut. She said she was following what was on my son's card with Betty, despite our initial conversation. This was a summer buzz cut. Betty always knew in the winter we keep my son's hair longer, thicker. I asked the girl to try & blend it in, and cut the rest of his hair shorter, not buzzed. She said "Ok, I got you." Next, Christine (stylist) walks over, rolling her eyes at me. She said, with an agitated tone, "ma'am you are not allowed back here, you have to go upfront."  I told her Ok, I was upfront, until I heard the buzz of clippers, & now I am discussing my son's hair cut with the stylist. I explained how there are more people congregating upfront (4 other employees), two of which were coughing the entire time we were there. I told her I felt safer in the back, because it was only the stylist, me, and my son back there, and there was more room to spread out. Christine says, I am not arguing with you. I told her I am not arguing with you either, and not to speak to me with this tone. I said I will go back upfront, but this is the first time we are seeing this stylist, & we are working to get on the same page concerning my son's hair. I told her I will need to walk to the back to inquire, & see how things are going with my son's hair. Christine then walks over to the stylist who only shaved part of the back of my son's head at this point, and ordered her to "stop cutting his hair, they are leaving." I said to her, you are ordering this girl to stop cutting my son's hair in the middle of a hair cut? She said "I told you to go upfront."  I told her how unprofessional this is, & moreover how cruel (mean) to do this to a child, a 12 year old boy, 3 days before Christmas! Christine next said, "you are lucky your son is here." I asked if she were threatening me. She told the stylist again to stop cutting my son's hair. My son's hair was buzzed in the middle of the back of his head only, from his neck to the top of his head. The rest of his hair was still long. I told her I want to speak with a manager. Christine said, "I am the manager." My son felt bad, embarrassed by his hair unfinished. He kept his head down as we walked out. He said to me, I guess I'll hide my hair with a hat for school tomorrow.Christine was still saying inappropriate, and rude comments, as I walked out the door with my son. I had to take him to another salon to get his hair fixed, and finished. I never got to leave Betty's gift.

Got there at 5:40 as soon as my spouse and I walked in the lady said they were closed we stated we thought they closed at 6 pm she said we do but we have to clean. We have gone to other Great Clips locations and walked in before they're closing and they always welcome us. Not sure what was going on here . But I thought they would clean after they closed.
