750 Stony Point Rd Ste 185, Santa Rosa, CA 95401 707-571-1774 I took my son to this location. Adrian is the manager there and she is lovely except this new guy has been working there is rude, hostile. He is in his 50s. Tall guy. Just like any other parents I wanted to make sure my son doesn't get a bad haircut so the nice lady who was taking care of my son seemed wanted to know more about his hair cut length so she can do an excellent job. During the hair cut I was settings few times in the waiting area as i was answering my emails then my son called me to check, So I asked her to do the side shorter and do a square in the back. She was very nice and did everything I asked her. Very nice lady. Then out of the blue this man comes in from the break room as lays down on a his barber chair as he is taking a sun bath and playing with his phone with loud volume . When he had nothing to do he started telling me in a very hostile and rude tone and loud : " SIR, SIR , YOU CANT BE HERE, I HAVE TO ASK YOU TO GO BACK TO THE WAITING AREA. "', There are many ways to say this so a client is not offended but he wanted to take it to his own level to be an absolute Jerk. Putting me down in front of my 9 year old. My so has autism and any loud talk will freaks him out. I told him watch his tone and he went back and forth with me. I told him you don't know who I am and what I do for living that you are treating me with such harsh tone. He said who you work for, I said I am a Microsoft engineer and have enough resources to follow complaint against him. Then his response was if you make so much money what the hell I am doing at Great Clips??????. I said are you telling me only people with low income are welcomed here ?. I told him that he is totally out of line. The other 2 ladies were stunned that he said that. At that point I knew he crossed the line and I took a picture of his license for reference Not to mention he has in the past gave me a butchered haircut and since I discussed it with the manager (Adrian, A wonderful Manager) in the past it seemed like he wanted to revenge. I have been going there for almost 20 years. My entire family goes there. Then he told me I was lying and this place hasn't been open that long. So on my way out He started making fun of me and my son with another customer that just walked in. Can anyone reading this think this is the way how to treat an old customer?. I am 57 years old and have enough experience in my life to realize what's go or bad and this definitely by far was the rudest experience I have ever had in my entire life. I called the corporate office and filed the complaint, Hopefully the owner will call me back to get to the bottom of this. When my son came home he ran to his mom saying this man at the barber shop was fighting with dad and took us 30 minutes to help him stop crying. Do you really want such experience where you pay and to harassed?. The lady cutting my Son's hair had no issue showing her the picture of his past haircut and she was very nice and appreciative until this loco showed up.

Our barber was really kind and talented. Due to sensory issues, my son gets his hair cut twice a year. The same barber did his hair the last time. He's great w kids on the spectrum.

Bad cuts. I went in for a shorter version of the same hairstyle, which started out as shoulder length. Dominic started by layering BEFORE cutting the final length. Never seen that before. The final length is usually established first. Makes sense. When he was done, there was a hole in the layering and one small part that was uneven. I pointed that out, and the more experienced stylist took over. I explained what I didn't like. I thought she was simply going to fix it. Instead, she went all Edward Scissorhands on me (she was more skilled yet almost comical how it was a flurry of activity) and I ended up with SHORT hair in a very different style. About 4" shorter in the back and 6" shorter in the front than I had started. (I had asked for 2" off). She NEVER asked or told me that was what she was doing. And I'm not loving it. It's not attractive. I still tipped generously because that's who I am. Still, the lack of communication and skill is something the reason I'm never going back.!
