If you want to go to a nail salon and have the technician called TT make fun of you in Vietnamese to the other person in the shop then this is the place for you. I went in for a manicure and it was the worst job I ever had and I paid for her to do my cuticle and she didn't. The nails were so uneven I had to file them when I got home. You have to pay cash which makes me wonder if they are legal. They did not use sterilized nail equipment.
Worst nail job I've ever seen. These are not my nails. They are my girlfriends nails. She came home, crying her eyes out at the bad job. I was told that when she confronted the woman, she was yelled at and made to feel stupid.
Went back for he first time after covid, no appointment but taken in immediately. It is under new management. Vietnamese mother daughter team. English quite good. Place was clean but the only decor is colored rope lights running the length of the hall walls and around the doors. Looks like a kids birthday party space. TV on a never ending 5 minute loop of a street scene in Vietnam. All stations have a sign up that "cash only accepted". No sign with prices posted. Quite a shock to find out that my basic, no frills, colored polish pedicure was $40 before tip! I had three toes that throbbed all afternoon and all night. They were fine the next morning. No infection showed up. 2-3 stars.
I've had acrylic nails for over 15 years, and have been to many many many salons over the years, did I say MANY. Ha ha. Te-te does a great job EVERY single time. I tried dip for a while ,against Te-te's recommendation she said my nails were too thin and she was right. I went to a different salon for dip for about a year and got tired of them breaking off completely or 1/2 way up my nail bed only 1-1.5 weeks after I had them done. So back to Te-te for my perfectly done acrylics with gel polish. She just bought a whole bunch of new gel colors, it was a struggle to pick. I'll be trying them all out I'm sure. Wanted a fun bright color while the summer heat is still here. . Thank you Te-te for the care and quality work you do. Try Cindy's nails and ask for Te-te you won't be disappointed.
Wanted a color change with the gel polish 2 of them asked to see my nails and both insisted i have powder put on which I do not, If they can't tell the difference between gel and powder that to me is walk right back out the door. Cindy's nail spa in Rincon Valley scary
