Great Clips in Indiana, PA

I've always gone to great clips. Sometimes I get a stylist who knows what they are doing and sometimes I don't. In that circumstance, they do offer FREE hair cuts to fix it within a week. Which is a super great option. Kayla is GREAT. The type of cut I wanted, took me 3 appointments. Only paid for the first initial appointment, since the other 2 were used to fix my hair. My 3rd appointment was w/ Kayla, and it was perfect. The stylists that work there have always been friendly.

This place is like the fast food drive through of hair cutting places. If you need something simple done like a trim or like a guys or child's hair cut for a cheap price and really are not worried about things like having your hair washed then this is the place for you. I have heard the stylist are placed on time limits and will not get paid if for the hair cut if it takes them to long to complete it. I had my hair cut here 1 time and will not have it done again but my husband and kids have had no problems here.

Never stepping foot in a great clips again. Got a great haircut from Comrades in Greensburg a couple weeks ago, and just wanted to get a trim before a trip I was going on. The lady who cut my hair butchered my hair beyond believe. At this point I'm better off shaving my head completely. This has not been the only bad experience I have had at this location. I can not recommend anyone getting a haircut at great clips.

I have been going to Great Clips for about a year and I often get Katie who does a good job and would get 4 stars. Monday I got Dane who rushed thru the cut using clippers on the sides and scissors on the top as instructed. But he left sections of hair on the sides as much as 3/4 of an inch longer than others at the same level. He evened out the right side on top more or less, but totally left my left side with hair as much as an inch longer in areas than in others. I spent 15 minutes or so trying to even out my hair when I got home. And my info is in the CPU, but he charged me regular price rather than the senior discounted price. I did not notice due to the way the terminal is set up. I would have called, but my wife has gone there for years and did not want me to make waves.

My mother just got a haircut here about 4:30, she had pictures of what she would like and the lady did not cut it how it was supposed to be. After she was done she went to pay and we mentioned it was nothing like the picture, she proceeded to argue with us that her hair is curly so a flat iron would help and that she had been cutting hair for 45 years. Doesn't seem like it. My mother even had blood on her face from this lady. Mind you it was the lady's blood not my mother's. She was tall, blonde hair tied back, and older. She will not be cutting any of our hair again.
