I went in for a trim and to shorten my side bangs. I waited 50 minutes for Vanity to eagerly take me to her seat and explain how excited she was to have me as her client. I told her I wanted my side bangs done and she said she'd see if she can incorporate that into the cut. She did not ask me what I wanted done with my hair. First, she oiled my hair and explained how to take care of my scalp, trimmed the crown hair pieces with thinning shears, added volume powder to my hair to give it fullness, and took off the cape and told me to meet her at the register. She did not trim any other pieces, wet my hair, or touch my bangs like I had asked.

It's nice to have a Great Clips nearby. I went in as a walk-in which is the only way you can get service at Great Clips. A chatty lady waited on me and I asked for a wash and cut. She washed my hair and I only needed a trim so it didn't take long. The curious part was that she did not dry my hair completely. She got the blow dryer going and blew it for a while but while it was still wet she was done. It was 19° out and so I got to go out in the freezing weather with wet hair. There's every possibility that my stylist must have been having a rough day. She was not especially gentle with me. The water from the wash was everywhere on me. I don't know but her focus was not on me, the person in her chair. I did tip her but I was not impressed. I had mentioned that I was going to color my hair but that's not a good reason to not finish drying someone's hair. Is it because I didn't say, "cut and style"? I didn't stick around to press the issue. I'd pass actually.
Horrible I drive from Cleveland Ohio because the guy usually does a good job. My hair was uneven he acted like he didn't want to do it! Another lady requested him and he told her that she was gonna have to go to someone else!! Bad business idk what was wrong! Never going again! I guess it depends on what day u go!
The stylists are usually nice, with varying degrees of competency. But, they are close and convenient, can walk in w/o an apt. However, there is no excuse for NOT brushing off the just cut hair from face and neck. Be a professional and act that way!!
