Golden Nails in Rocky Mount, NC

Got my nails done Saturday and one hand already gone then they make you pay for what they messed up. Smh

I don't usually write reviews but I'm going to write one about this one. First off I had booked an appointment and right when I got in I had to wait another 20 minutes for her to finish another person. Right when I sat down she immediately started rushing because another person walked in. I'm assuming she is the owner and she was the only one working that day so I gave her a chance. I was wrong to do that because I had some questions about the nails I wanted to get done and she kept shrugging me off rudely and just started working on my nails. She was pretty rough with my nails and didn't even do the basics. I asked for a manicure and she didn't even do that she just did my acrylics. There is a language barrier so I didn't take in the tone of her voice much, but it was slightly rude. Anyways my nails and cuticles were crooked and ugly. I'm a meticulous person so it's going to look terrible to me but to others not so much.

I booked an appointment to get my eyelashes done a week and a half in advance only to get an email saying my appointment was cancelled without explanation. I called to see the reason for the cancellation and the phone just kept ringing. This is very unprofessional! If I could I would put a 0 stars.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I got my nails down 6 days ago and all my nails are lifting. I wish I could it zero stars because this place deserves it. I called back and explained what happened and the lady that answered the phone had a slight attitude and said "if it bothers you the pay $3 and we'll fix it. DO NOT GO AND WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This place is THE WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ABSOLUTELY ANYONE FIRST OFF I came up here because I have a pageant tomorrow to attend and I thought it was going to be a good place to go because of the reviews but the man was extremely rude he kept leaving me to work on someone else and he took his precious time on them and then when it was finally his turn to finish mine he rushed through them so fast that they were hideous and I asked him to fix them and he tried to down play them and say it was fine so I told him he needs to fix it and he didn't he says I only have time to fix one so you pick which one you want me to fix ... pause if you tell me to pick one you obviously know these nails are awful so he tries to fix it and he goes all hard and rough  and still charges 40$ for the ugliest nails I have ever add ABSOLUTELY NEVER TRY THIS PLACE unless you just want to waste your time and mone
