Glamour Nails & Spa in Meridian, ID

I've been to Glamour Nails a handful of times for full- sets of nails and pedicures. When the owner (Kim) did my nails, she often told me loudly to "relax your hands!" Like I was being scolded. My fingers are deformed from severe arthritis, and I'm not able to move my fingers like most people, so they don't "relax!" Kim was extremely insensitive and displayed ableism.

Additionally, another nail tech who did my nails occasionally never spoke to me and gave off a negative vibe whenever she saw me. I always felt like a burden and not valued as a customer, so now I get my nails done elsewhere. The owners and nail techs who work for Glamour Nails should take courses to learn how to be inclusive and positively engage with customers with disabilities.

They thought since I was big and black they could do bare minimum and then over charge me like I can do simple math. I still left a tip after all that because they refused to give me back my proper change. Yes, $20 is worth this message. Don't judge a book by its cover and give the same service to everyone.

I got a really good vibe as soon as I walked in the door. I called to set an appointment and they referred to me by my name which I thought was nice personal touch. I got a manicure and pedicure and felt like there was a lot of effort put into making my nails perfect.
The man who did my nails did everything with such great focus and attention to detail.
I had previously been to a couple other nail salons, where I felt like they were speaking about me in a different language. There is absolutely none of that here. It's really refreshing to go to a place where I feel like there is mutual respect for everybody:)

Well, my husband found this business based on good reviews. Maybe I just got a bad service provider, but the gentleman who did my nails gave me the worst mani pedi I've ever received. Nails were still rough, and polish was thin and see-through. It also didn't match my toes like it was supposed to. My heels were left rough, and the massage part of the pedicure was sorely lacking.  I'm still looking for a great salon and service.

Incredibly poor service. Not interested in serving the public; don't even bother trying to walk-in without an appointment. You will be turned away. They didn't even offer appointment time on other days. Will no never go back here.
