Gigi's Hair & Beauty Salon in Pensacola, FL

I called to find out how much for partial highlights and I was told 75, so I made the appointment, I was told I could come in 30 mins. I believe she squeezed me in her fully booked day cause there was a lot of waiting. My hair is short, barely touching my shoulders and also very fine. She put lowlights and highlights since my hair already had them. She did a great job on the coloring , however, I didn't like that she cut my hair too short. I told her chin level, she cut it to above my chin; too short for me. When she was cutting my hair, she had me facing away from the mirror so I didn't know she was cutting too much. She charged me $180, I got nervous cause I didn't have enough cash. I had to use my credit card, ended up paying $200 because she has two nice ladies helping her so gave a 20 dollar tip. I asked how I owed 180 when she said it was $75. She said she added another color so that was an additional 45, then the cut was 45 and the toner was supposed to be 20 but she just charged me 15. Awww, how sweet ! (It was a la carte!) When I got to work the following day, I told my co workers about my experience and two of them said GIgi did it to them as well; they never went back. Great salon with reasonable prices. Gigi spent time getting a clear understanding of what I wanted in a haircut, offering options of styles that she felt would complement my face. Did before and after pictures even to make sure it was just right. Salon was clean and everyone was friendly. Will definitely be back in the future.

Awful. All I wanted was a round brush blowout. I have alot of fine long blond hair. I get them ever other week at another salon but needed a quick so close to my parents house. Showed Gigi and her husband pictures. Gigi said it was easy she had been doing hair for 23 years. She then had her obviously unlicensed husband completely straight dry my hair- I was surprised cause everyone that has ever done a round brush blow out knows it has to be 85 % damp to hold the curl. She then came back to finish it and basically fried my fine hair trying to get it to curl. I told her, if it's not holding curl it needs to be dampened she said no it will, and proceeded to burn my hair. She then said well, it's not gonna curl without a curling iron. Annoyed, I Walked out after an hour with no curl or wave in my hair just a messy look my toddler could have done at home. Will never return.

Gigi and her husband are the sweetest people I've ever met I made a appointment last minute and they made my hair absolutely beautiful!

if i could give a 0 star i would....it is very traumatic trying to find a good hairstylist that listens to a customer.....i have had haircuts from hell these past 2 years....every time they want to butcher my hair......i came to this shop in february....i explained i do not like or want short hair....its taken a year to grow out.....please please do not cut my hair short or cut it back......i do want short hair and i said it very very loud....i looked her straight in the eyes...... i paid $80 for overpriced hair color that has made my ugly short haircut i didnt want even uglier.....cheap hair color over priced.....$80 for color that has made my hair prickly and brittle. i have given them the opportunity to refund my $80 and nothing.....if you want an overpiced haircut and color by a stylist that doesnt listen ask for brandy....shes nice......but she does not listen to her client especially a new client. she allowed her client to walk out crying and devastated.....and still upset weeks later at her ugly ugly butchered hair..... now another year of ugly hair and to let it grow out like i the client likes her haircut......listen to your clients.....you can not know everything after 3 cuts.....
